I feel like I rated this place earlier but anyway, I love this place not because you can't find anything here like groceries and stuff but because it's the quietest and most peaceful place to live, it's super green, lakes and ponds around filled with birds chirping. Love this place. About the houses, they are dorms with single and double rooms well equipped and complete. And that's it for now...

I’m from a college town so there’s plenty of bars where I’m from but this is the best bar I’ve been to. The place was filled with great people and music that made such a fun atmosphere. Beverly and other staff were very fun and outgoing. Beverly made it a point to let her know if anyone made me or by best friend uncomfortable (no one did) which I appreciated as this was a girls trip with only us two. The place was very clean as well. When I come back to Bandera, I’ll definitely be visiting this place again. Such a great experience.

First time here. We followed our favorite band (Derringer). Venue was a little smaller than we expected, but very nice and a lot of fun. It is in the front of the new Best Western in town. If you don't know this it is hard to find... the name isn't really displayed outside.

I was visiting DC from Charlotte NC where I square dance traditional square dance several times per week. This was high energy great fun!!! Dave Harvey explained the moves and the dancers picked up the moves and danced. I also enjoyed the live band.

Yesterday I experienced a real disappointment. I am a migrant from Russia, with no documents and no work permit. I'm learning the language now. My dream is to learn to dance. I don't know how. So I decided to start! I came to this school. But I was rejected. Because I don't have the vaccine. Covid ran out years ago, but you can't dance here without a vaccine! Why would they need a vaccine? Is this a swing club or a dance school?

I am a 34 year old semi professional zouk tango and salsa dancer out of boston. the atmosphere here is pretty. if you are a 23 year old girl who cannot dance at all (terrible zouk instruction and thus no one can dance) this is the place for you. also things tend to start too late and only after you've listened to some 22 year old spout off about how awesome they are for having planned this mediocre event where no one can dance to save their lives. they will take center stage for an hour before the aweful dancing starts. very much over hyped, please get real instructors and don't waste peoples time.

One of my favorite fusion spots. A diverse crowd of dancers, many beginner and many very experienced. A friendly atmosphere and usually good music. All this in a beautiful church with dancing saints! This is definitely fusion, not blues, so know what to expect. There is always a lesson before too.

Amazing fusion dancing venue (partner dance). They have bimonthly dances (1st and 3rd Saturdays) from 9:30pm-1:00am, with a class beforehand at 8:30pm. Usually $12-15. Fantastic ambience, dancers, and very welcoming to newcomers and beginners, even if you've never done partner dancing. Emily, the organizer, is great! Check it out!

Mission Fusion is an amazing spot for partner dancing. The music is modern, down tempo electronic with strong lyrical themes and occasional live music. The crowd is mostly 20s and 30s with a few older and younger. The venue is a beautiful church, that they clear and fill with sound, lights, and dancing.

Excellent fusion dancing. If you're new to it I highly recommend you make it to the class. It's a little messy for the first dance style that you learn, but once you get the hang of it, it's the best fun you'll have and the music here is always excellent

Shades is one of the most welcoming and friendly dance venues I have attended, especially for queer and trans people. The venue is relaxing and calm, the lighting is great, and there are two separate areas to dance - the main dance space and a second area for more energetic or out-of-genre dances. Very welcoming ecstatic dance experience in a beautiful historic ballroom that just oozes history.More deluxe set of offerings than I'm used to which included both contact improv and yoga before dance, a tea booth upstairs, some kind of bar with food and snacks downstairs.Lots of dance space plus tons of benches for sitting and hanging out or cuddling. Padded floor areas for stretching as well as a shrine like area.

It’s been 12 years since my first ecstatic dance, which was at this location. Life has taken me far and through many iterations. To come back here, drop completely in, and feel absolutely supported and encouraged to fully show up by this community, was an absolute treasure. I wish I could have more dances here, but I will savor this, and look forward to the next time. What an epic space and community.

Great experience. The guy collecting $ was friendly and helpful. The music was different, maybe New Age. Great for any one who likes dancing. They start with a yoga session which was also good. Then you move around dancing however you want. Free no judgement. The dance floor is huge and it fills up over time & can get crowded. People from all walks of life, of all ages are welcome. A little more variety of music would have been cool. Overall great opportunity to exercise in a unique way!

This is my favorite ecstatic dance venue! The music is upbeat and varied, the space is big, and the people are ready to dance for hours. The front door person is always nice and welcoming. Down sides: there is always one older guy who stands at the front and just watches women who dance near him, makes me uncomfortable. And they raised their entrance fee from $15 to $18 recently which means I can't really go anymore because that is a lot to pay for a couple of hours of dancing.

Excellent date night:) the dreaminess of this ballroom cannot be overstated. Their main ballrooms is one of the best in the country that is actually open to the public for dancing on a weekly basis. I can't imagine what it'll look like after their renovations! (still open during renovations)

Lovely dancing and performance space! I remember when I first came here, it was for community salons and I felt like I stepped in a time capsule with all jazz memorabilia. I like that it's the perfect amount of space to feel comfortable to make acquaintances with other people and it's no overwhelming. I also appreciate that the bathroom is alwas very clean. The owners are wonderful people.

Beautifully crafted space for musicians and dancers to rehearse or, teach classes and workshops. Would be good for private parties. Ballroom features a floated dance floor, three screen mirrors on one wall, two more on the other. A projector and quality sound system. If you are into vernacular jazz dance, soundies, classic American films, and jazz dance academia there is a book case full of material.

This is the coolest place. It definitely feels like a serious throwback in time. They offer a variety of things from square dance lessons to meeting places. My favorite thing however is there monthly Pancake Breakfast they hold on the third Sunday of every month. The atmosphere of this breakfast is not only great its also extremely affordable and some really good food for the price! If your in the area its well worth the 30-40 minute drive on the third Sunday to try it out!

This is a ballroom that can be rented out for events, I called in to schedule a viewing, it took a few times to get someone on phone. I had someone shoe it to me, but it was not what we needed at the time.

We have been loyal customersBut lately it seems all the post rules are just ignored. There's no security by the entries as use to be. The no smoking or vapeing rules. Are ignored. Under age sneak in & on the busiest nights like last night. Closed one Bar down & only 1 waitress. She did a fabulous job disbite all the crowding.I don't know who's in charge over Track 5 but they need to be fired. This has been happening for sometime now & keep the 2 waitresses already working. They do a good job disbite the over growding & security assigned for growd control. Most of the loyal customers are even frustrated the way it has changed. Please take back our track 5 to the way it use to be stop the over growding & protect your valued customers. Thank you

Worst service I've ever had in my life. booked a room to stay the night at hard rock, I had a couple friends come as well. bartender wouldnt serve (ME)due to them forgetting ID in car, they go get it after talking with manager and manager states we will be served after they get it, she STILL would not serve us. I saw her laughing over there looking back at us with the other shorter bartender. She was extremely rude to all of us from the very very beginning, I was warned of her even before we can that she has a terrible attitude, I'm still waiting for someone to contact me regarding this bartender.

This place needs more staff...way more for the business it does....and the staff need to remember it's a fast paced place with a lot going on....waiting 30 mins for a drink while the staff moves around like entitled snails is not the way you keep happy customers....flood that place with bar tenders and let's get them waiting times down.....it's not cool I had to go to a whole other bar in the casino due to lack of staff, or motivation..casinos need workers with enthusiasm, not entitled children that think they run the show

I've been coming here for a long time and have usually enjoyed it, but, unfortunately, they hired a new sound guy not terribly long ago. Bands don't sound as good and the quality of acts have started going downhill. Rumor is that the sound guy is chasing all the good bands away. It's unfortunate that one guy is ruining this whole place.

I love getting to rent this space- especially with friends. It’s great if you’re shy to try out pole and want to get a feel of how it feels.The area it’s in is not the best - I would recommend not going alone.

Absolutely love this place. It's a really ducked off dance studio that's super chill. Prices are reasonable and you can make the space your own. They have poles already set up in the room. If you want to practice any routines the mirror is in the layout are just gorgeous

I really love this Studio. It's absolutely amazing! I enjoy the open Pole at any hours concept when you can dance and train at your own convenience. The lightning and the audio system are great.The poles are highly professional quality. If you want to make a video this is the place.

This place is magical. It's not your typical pole studio -- it's a turnkey high end dance practice space. Outfitted with fresh floors, natural daylighting and extensive colored lighting options, a great sound system, and even a shower to rinse when you're finished dancing. Make sure to clean up after yourself to keep this space special for all those that may enter after you. It's hard to beat the prices and location. I'm so glad a place like this exists in Los Angeles.

As soon as I heard about the Haven concept - an open pole and dance space at all hours of the day - I was sold. My apartment isn't big enough to have a full dance space, and open pole time at studios are often during work hours. Haven is the perfect solution - not to mention, it's gorgeous, parking is convenient, the sound system is on point, the poles are fantastic, and you just feel good dancing there. I will be training here regularly!

Deep Dance changed my life! I've been dancing for a long time, but after some painful years, I needed something refreshing to recharge my lifeforce. I needed something to jolt me (gently) back into an active life. Deep Dance is so special, and a HUGE part of that is due to all the sensitivity and attention to details. The way they greet me when I arrive. The fact that they cover the mirrors so none of us get in our head (allowing us to remain in heart). It's the way they provide tissue if one of us is crying; and it's all the ways they sincerely create space for all of us with such warmth and love. The facilitators are all impeccably gifted in leading mindful movement. They lead and give us space at the same time, just to be. I truly appreciate all of the things they do behind the scenes to make Deep Dance a safe, fun, grounding environment. When I dance with the Deep Dance tribe, it feels like dancing with family. I feel alive and free and accepted to just be myself on the dance floor. I've been a part of this amazing community for four months now. This is the first time in a long time that I have felt really active again (mind, body, spirit simultaneously). The experience is something everyone should try. It's a beautiful way to express, explore, connect, and heal. Emotional and physical safety are always upheld and honored. Deep Dance is a healing elixir smack dab in the middle of Soho. It's the medicine I didn't know I needed until I got a taste of it. Now, I'm completely invested. Thank you, Deep Dance community, for being a beautiful part of my world. Remember those nights spent dancing your face off until 2am? Imagine that except instead of coming down you’re left with a truly transcendent body + mind + spirit high that feeds you all week. That’s deep dance! It’s truly medicine. Its magic has infiltrated every aspect of my life from relationships with my family to clearer insights and intuition in my career. There’s zero pressure to be a good dancer—even the mirrors are covered—because deep dance is about how you feel not how you look. And believe me you’re going to feel damn incredible when you leave! The only problem with deep dance is that the people are so genuinely lovely and authentic, it’s making it hard for me to hang out with other humans during the week. This place is a true LA gem.

One can go for free for one's birthday party plus bring 9 friends for free as well. Good DJ's. Large dance floor. Communication is poor: only via email, and it may take a few days for a response.

Great atmosphere and the event organizers do the best job and giving you a great first time experience as well as keeping coming back for more. They are one of the longest running weekly swing dance events in Southern California and for good reason. You can't find a better Thursday night swing dance event in Pasadena/LA area for the price. Includes free beginner lesson too! Check it out!
