Jul 18, 2023 · Sarah ElizondoI have taken my children here for the last 2 years and wouldn’t take them to any other studio. The instructors are always so caring and hands on with their students. The growth and confidence they have instilled into my children is more than words can describe. Seeing my children develop excellent social skills and watching them become more and more of an independent person is because of the amazing teaching by the instructors to my children.
Jul 18, 2023 · Breanna LumlyDon’t take your kids here!Waste of money! We signed our daughter up for their summer hip-hop dance class and it was a joke! The young instructor girl wasn’t even into it and never smiled! They were only taught a few JAZZ type moves (even though it’s supposed to be hip-hop) and are expected to do a show the beginning of next month. I don’t know why they would want a group of young kids up on stage embarrassed not knowing what to do. I called to let the company know that I would no longer be bringing her and the lady proceeded to tell me that I did not have to formally call and take her out because it is the summer class. She also didn’t even offer to give me my money back. She wasn’t nice about it at all!I told her I will be spreading the news of this company and how unorganized and rude they truly are. I would never recommend this place!
Jul 17, 2023 · Brittany BillingtonI’m heading to a performance at the Fox theater, which reminded me that I should leave a review of Linda Larma. This is a review of the 2021–22 dance year. First, I will say my nine year old daughter did enjoy her time in dance. However, several issues with this organization. First we signed our daughter up for a hip-hop class. The end of the year recital was country. They spent a lot of time learning country dances, not hip-hop. Two my daughter was…the worst dancer in her group. Hey, someone has to be the worst, oh well it is what it is. My problem is this, I attended and recorded their dress rehearsal before their final show. I noticed my daughter was really lacking in the choreography, so I, a 40 year old man (posting on my wife’s google ID) with no dance experience, was able to take 15 minute and help my daughter drastically improved her dancing. Now, why didn’t the professional teacher notice her weak areas and take a few minutes once a week during the year and help her improve? And if she improved that much from my minor help, I know the teacher didn’t help her squat 1-on-1. But what made me the angriest, is at the dress rehearsal my daughter had a partner for the partner dancing part, but on the day of the performance. Another kid is there and she does the dancing with my daughter’s partner. So they’re on stage at the big end-of-the-year performance in front of a full house and my nine-year-old stands there with no idea what to do because… we’ll I I have no idea why actually. Because I saw the dress rehearsal and she had a partner and (mostly) knew what to do, but they changed at the last minute, and she sat there, embarrassed on stage the only one without a partner. Ten months later, I’m still a little irked.
