American Kids Sports Center Reviews
Absolutely horrible swimming coaches!!!! My nephew WAS going for lessons and will NEVER return! He was treated horribly because he can only swim with swimming goggles. Due to his autism!!!!!!!!!! He left his lesson crying yesterday because the coach refused to let him swim with his goggles on. Horrible service! Horrible place! The response from the “owner” is a total lie! First off TYLER wasn’t even the coach at hand so now your employees are falsifying notes! (Go deal with that also) Second I absolutely understand safety but unless your coaches are teaching these children how to breath under water what difference does it make if there is a nose covering? Still a horrible place and now I see it starts from the top!!!
Jun 15, 2025 · Wendy MendezAmerican Kids is the best children’s facility in town by far! It is the cleanest, most organized sports complex. All 4 of my children have had amazing coaches, that have helped shape them into successful young adults.
May 22, 2025 · Kimberly WeimerBest gym to put your kids in. The coaches are great and trained very well. My kids have moved up so quickly in gymnastics and cheer all because of the coaches. They are patient and very driven to help these kids succeed. The staff at the front is also amazing! They have always been so nice and happy to explain everything so well. Could not thank them all enough!
Jan 31, 2025 · kristin hokitIn a group I belong to, I had heard about another special needs mom saying horrible things about the swim lessons at American Kids. So I'm here to speak on my positive experience. My son is also autistic, and has THRIVED at American Kids. He went from being scared of water in his face & head, to voluntarily putting his entire head in to dive and get that ring (iykyk). While he has worked with multiple swim instructors (we have purchased the punch swim pass as well), Kennedy is his absolute favorite for sure.My son gets distracted easily and has a hard time sitting still waiting for his turn. More so than the neurotypical child his age. I'm pretty sure he has been told to sit down (and wait his turn) on multiple occasions. 🙃 Each time it seems to be handled gracefully, and I appreciate that.I have nothing but positive things to say about the swim lessons and how it has gone for my neurodivergent child. 💙 The progress he has made is amazing, but the confidence he has gained in himself and his capabilities is even better.
Jul 02, 2025 · Jareli JacoboThey were pressuring my toddler to go underwater so hard she was having an anxiety attack. This swim classes are not fun for them. If you're trying to create a Olympic swimmer, I guess go here? They're charging practices are also predatory and they will keep charging you and fight you to keep going and keep getting charged. It's obviously just a money grab for them.
