Leigh's School of Dance Reviews
We’ve been working with the studio for about a month. We tried the combo class and it wasn’t for us yet. It was scary to ‘drop’ her off but the classroom door was in my view so I knew she wasn’t leaving without me seeing and I understand the benefits of her not being able to see me. She listens bests when moms not there lol. They also brought her to me about half way through when she was asking for me and started crying. I liked that they didn’t push her too hard. My lo is 3.5. They recommended we try the parent toddler class and it went so much better. My mom heart was so full after class. We’re doing the 6 weeks with hopes we’ll be able to do the next session of 3-5 combo. I appreciate that everyone helps us when we walk in, even other students that are older ask if we need help. Very welcoming.
Apr 01, 2025 · Rachel CookWe've been at Leigh's for about a decade-all 3 of my daughters started dance when they were little and now 1 dances recreationally and is a teacher's assistant, and the other 2 are on the competition team. Leigh's has become a second home to them. It's a place of happiness and creativity and the root of some of their very best memories. They have found their best friends and mentors for life here. Leigh's is a place that I as a parent trust and value for not only a dance education for my girls, but for the invaluable life lessons they are learning as well. The value of hard work and team work, how to conquer fears, how to handle disappointment and failure, how to celebrate and support the wins of others, and how sweet victory and sucess taste when it's earned and not just handed to you. More than anything, I appreciate how Leigh's prioritizes the mental health and well being of the kids over wins and successes. I would recommend anyone looking for a dance home-at any stage in the dance journey-come and experience Leigh's for yourself. The joy of the children is infectious, the parents are welcoming and supportive, and the teachers are not only a ray of sunshine, but a wealth of experience, knowledge, and love.
Feb 11, 2025 · Brooke HendersonI've had my two daughters at Leighs for the last 8 years. Experiencing both the competitive and recreational classes. My older one loves the competitive classes, staff, and friends. My younger daughter has had amazing support (she's deaf), fun, and loves the teachers/classes. From a parent side, the staff have always been welcoming, encouraging, and have a passionate love for dance. They truly have a family vibe.
Jan 17, 2025 · Stephen LanyiUnfortunately, we had the same exact experience as Phillip Naylor and it was very off-putting. We pulled our 2 year old because we were told to actually just drop off our toddler and that we had to wait in our car. 2 years old is just too young for that. It isn't a good policy for toddlers at all. We went to another studio with a viewing area and cameras you can watch from the lobby to keep my child safe and feeling comfortable.
