KPAC Introduce
For families in North Carolina, particularly within Statesville and the wider Iredell County region, seeking a dynamic and supportive environment for physical activity and skill development, KPAC stands out as a premier destination. This isn't just a typical gym; it's a comprehensive gymnastics and tumbling center dedicated to fostering growth, confidence, and a love for movement in individuals of all ages.
KPAC offers a wide array of programs, from engaging classes for the youngest learners to advanced training for competitive athletes. Rooted in the expertise of its owner, Kristie Phillips, a U.S. Olympics gold medal winner and USA Gymnastics Hall of Fame member, KPAC is committed to providing top-tier coaching within a disciplined yet fun working environment. Their philosophy emphasizes individualized learning, ensuring that each child can reach their maximum potential and growth. Beyond physical prowess, KPAC aims to instill crucial life skills such as time management, self-motivation, discipline, goal-setting, and resilience, recognizing gymnastics as the "mother of all sports" for its foundational benefits in balance, coordination, strength, flexibility, and endurance.
The positive experiences shared by local families truly highlight the unique atmosphere and effectiveness of KPAC's programs. One glowing review states, "We’ve been bringing our 3-year-old triplets to KPAC since September 2024, and we absolutely love it! Coach Karla is incredibly patient, kind, and amazing with young children. She does a fantastic job keeping the kids engaged, and we really appreciate how the class setup changes frequently to keep things fun and fresh while helping them learn new skills. It’s clear that the staff understands how to work with toddlers, and we’ve seen so much growth in our boys’ confidence, coordination, and excitement to go each week. KPAC has been a wonderful experience for our family. We’re so grateful for this place!" This testimonial perfectly encapsulates the studio's nurturing environment, engaging instruction, and the visible development in children's confidence and skills.
While the vast majority of feedback is overwhelmingly positive, it's worth noting that one customer mentioned a less ideal initial experience: "Once I checked my daughter in for a free trial class, neither she nor I were spoken to by anyone. We were directed where to go for the class, but that was the end of any interaction. We didn’t even finish the whole class." This feedback suggests that while the quality of instruction and ongoing class experience is highly valued, new visitor onboarding might occasionally vary. However, the consistent five-star ratings and numerous positive comments about staff attentiveness to children generally indicate a high standard of customer care and engagement once integrated into the program.

Apr 11, 2025 · Chris WeberWe loved having our daughter's 4th birthday here! They made the whole process easy, from booking with Ms. Tina to cleaning up. The kids had so much fun the entire time, they had an hour of playtime in the gym followed by half an hour of refreshments. The coaches kept the kids busy and energized the whole time and then helped to serve and clean up. Very affordable and up to 8 kids are included in the price. It was perfect, the kids were having so much fun no one wanted to leave. When we got home our daughter asked if she could have her 5th birthday there tomorrow. What more could a parent ask for? Thank you so much for hosting Ms. JaLisa!P.S. we love the preschool and gymnastics classes here as well.
