Parent and Me Classes (e.g., Rhythm & Tumble, Tiny Tots): Designed for very young children (starting at 18 months+) with an adult partner. These classes introduce basic dance movements, rhythm, songs, and fun props, fostering early motor skills, socialization, and creativity. Rhythm & Tumble also incorporates basic tumbling skills.
Creative Movement & Pre-Ballet: For young children (e.g., ages 3-4 and 5-6), these classes provide an immersive environment to explore movement, basic ballet positions, age-appropriate stretching, and prepare dancers for full ballet classes in the future.
Ballet & Tap Combo: An introductory 45-minute class for 3-4 year olds, teaching fundamentals of both ballet and tap, focusing on basic steps, musical awareness, and self-expression.
Classical Ballet: Offered from age 5 to advanced levels. Ballet is presented as the foundation of all dance, developing technique, musicality, good posture, grace, flexibility, and coordination through structured barre work and center exercises. Pointe is an advanced extension of ballet training for eligible dancers (typically pre-teens with sufficient experience).
Tap Dance: Classes from age 5 to advanced levels, focusing on fundamental techniques, intricate rhythms, and dynamic choreography. Students explore musicality, coordination, agility, and syncopated rhythms.
Jazz Dance: Upbeat classes from age 5 to advanced levels, emphasizing flexibility, technique, elevation, turning, and stamina. Students learn classic and commercial jazz styles, incorporating current music and performance quality.
Hip Hop: High-energy classes for students aged 9 years and up, covering various hip hop styles, isolations, dynamics, and choreography to current trending music.
Lyrical/Contemporary Dance: These styles combine ballet and jazz elements, emphasizing emotional expression, storytelling, floor work, and athletic movement, suitable for more experienced dancers.
Jumps, Turns, Extensions (Technique Class): A dedicated technique class focusing on specific skills needed for other dance styles, without a recital dance, allowing students to concentrate solely on technical improvement.
Theatre Dance: This class brings iconic Broadway choreography and style to dancers, focusing on stage presence and performance skills through learning styles like Fosse and Jerome Robbins.
Tiny Tumblers/Acro: Classes for all levels, from basic and age-appropriate acro skills for tiny tumblers to beginner and intermediate acrobatics, focusing on balance, strength, and fun.

Jump Move Dance Reviews
Love the place and they are super organized, which you cant say about most dance companies. My only criticism is the waiting area. The seating for parents is very poorly designed/ utilized. More time than not you have to stand. One easy idea would be to make the kids take their bags into the dance rooms with them and not leave them all over the seats and floor; put some shelves in there if you have to. Also add some chairs. The instructors do not announce that class hass started loud enough either. They come out and say it in a normal voice and then you don’t know what class it is and you’re sitting there wondering, “is that my kids class?”
Feb 01, 2024 · FriarTuck 817My daughter has been dancing at Jyliann's studio for 3 years and we've always had warm, enthusiastic instructors. The new space is so beautiful! JMD has also hosted 2 birthday parties for my daughter (one in studio, on during quarantine) and both were a hit.

Jun 12, 2019 · Sarah O'BrienI have 4 girls so between them we been part of 3 different studios in the area. This one is the best out of them all. Low class sizes so they can help each dancer more, staff is nice and the girls love them. Ample and clean space too
