Hocking Valley Youth Sport Center Reviews
Thank you Hocking Valley for hosting Parents night out. Our daughter is now in love with gymnastics and we enjoyed a kid free adult dinner.
Mar 04, 2023 · E. CarterIt was out 1st time there and we used the trial class offer. Well, I was disappointed with the coach because she was going through the stations like a robot. She didn’t give advice or corrections to the students. She didn’t COACH them, she just went through the motions and kept looking at her watch or phone. I’m not sure it’s worth $85 / $20 a class. I want my daughter to learn the proper techniques, not just walk on the beam or repeat a cartwheel and fall with no constructive criticism. Idk.
Mar 18, 2024 · Suzanne SandlinThe girls youth beams and bars coach is AMAZING! My daughter was scared to death to start but being her first night, she is already looking forward to going back next week! Ty Hocking Valley, you made my daughter's first experience AMAZING!! 💜
Jan 20, 2022 · Cheryl Jacobs (Cherbear)If your child has adhd or any other condition or has a lot of energy do not recommend they let children teach the little kid classes who have screamed at children they’ve treated my daughter completely unfair when told about the behavior nothing gets done the teachers were refusing to help correct my daughter in certain places she was lacking but was helping other 90$ spent every month for them to only teach certain kids they like more then others our last class the teacher who again was a child as my daughter PATIENTLY waited for her turn behind a girl she was in front of the instructor made her go behind every other student my daughter was confused and hurt didn’t understand why she continued to be treated like this she was giving my daughter dirty looks and when my daughter needed or asked for help on something she refused to help after saying something multiple times the head lady decides to text me and tell me MY DAUGHTER WAS A DISTRACTION TO THE TEACHERS AND STUDENTS and that her class needed to be changed to a different day and different instructor that’s not to mention the two times they recommend were the two times I already told them I could not do. Before going in I made them well aware that my daughter had ADHD I asked how that would be handled oh we have a lot of children like that we treat everyone the same WRONG worst experience ever would not recommend AT ALL after again addressing this through text and I have receipts of the encounters how my daughter was being treated they did address any of it instead told me to call the office to give them my card for a refund this place is a total disaster and I’m not the only parent who felt like this multiple parents in that class also felt the same way students that were not being treated like the rest they have favorites do not send your children here there are far better places for cheaper prices and less headache
May 14, 2024 · Selena Al-Batainehgreat place for kids but if you’re a parent and want to watch good luck! too many parents bring 5 kids at a time and all they do is take up the watch room space while they sit on their tablets with headphones. if you’re not watching your child, you shouldn’t be in that room occupying a chair and staff needs to do a better job at preventing this. i haven’t been able to watch my child at all since she moved up in this class and i don’t go in there with her anymore. it’s annoying. or you have entitled parents moving chairs right infront of the window to where no one can LIFERALLY see notning except for them. glass seats aren’t an option, and if they were chairs would already be placed there.
