Oct 18, 2024 · Patrick TaylorThis is THE home of Swing and Lindy Hop in Philadelphia. If you're looking to learn to swing dance or you're visiting Philly and you're looking to meet the local scene, this should be your first choice. Hands down!Parking isn't too wild, there's usually a few to find on walnut near Rittenhouse square which is just a minute or two walk to the dance venue. Else, you can drive around a bit and find spots throughout the area. The dance itself is amazing. Excellent instruction from the teachers who can teach to a myriad of different levels. Live bands every month, some of which are philly locals while others are from out of town. And solid DJs who keep everyone moving and grooving for the evening! It's a fun night out for couples, folks going out for date night, or anyone who loves to dance!Jazz Attack is an awesome space for folks looking for a fun evening together, learn a new style of dance, learn about the history of African Amercian vernacular jazz, or finding a community of cool local folks to engage with.
