My daughter began dancing for the first time six months ago when we signed her up for the Irish Dance class. We immediately noticed that communication was a MASSIVE issue with both the studio and the instructor. I had several emails to the instructor that I never received a response to, and in the few instances I did receive a response, she simply forwarded me to the studio staff for answers. The receptionist at the studio was extremely off-putting and always acted like my questions were nothing more than an inconvenience. Between January and June, I only ever physically met the instructor once (the first day my daughter attended class). So as a brand new dance family, we were left to fend for ourselves. When I finally discovered that the studio would be holding a recital - something I only discovered after I called the studio receptionist and asked why I was seeing extra charges on the online payment portal - I quickly learned that the instructor had zero knowledge about the specifics of the recital (which would explain why we had never been told by anyone that a recital would even be held). We received our recital info packet a week later than everyone else and saw in the packet that recital tickets had already been on sale. I knew the other families had probably already purchased their tickets, leaving us days behind in getting ours. I finally got a response from the studio office to purchase our family's tickets on the LAST DAY of ticket sales. My daughter was expected to perform two days - Saturday and Sunday. They only allowed us to purchase tickets for ONE performance, and because no one responded to me until the last day of ticket sales, we were left to purchase tickets for Sunday. Which meant we would be missing the very first performance of my daughter's first recital. On top of that, when asked what we were supposed to do about Saturday, we were told that we would need to drop her off at Shepherd University an hour before the recital and pick her up at its completion. That meant we would be leaving our 7-year-old epileptic daughter on a college campus, with complete and utter strangers, for three hours....with her having zero understanding of what she would be expected to do or even what a dance recital would entail, and having to deal with her nervous and anxious emotions by herself. When we expressed our concerns and dissatisfaction with that expectation, we were told by the receptionist that our daughter would be taken care of during those three hours because there would be 19 mothers in the dressing room. Nineteen?!?! Why wasn't I ever given an invitation to help?!?! Needless to say, we chose not to allow her to be parentless with strangers for three hours, and we cancelled her enrollment. Interestingly enough, after calling the studio to inform them of our decision to leave, my husband and I discovered that we can no longer access their social media pages. I'm not sure if they were petty enough to block us, but I sure find it a coincidence that everyone we have since asked to visit the IPAC facebook page can easily access it, while we are no longer able to. Fortunately, we have since transferred our daughter to another Irish Dance studio where we are EXTREMELY happy and comfortable after being warmly welcomed with open arms!!! I wish we would have made the switch much sooner!!!! IPAC will never receive a referral or another dime from us!!!!!!!

We love the classical guitar teacher he has been great for our son.....but as for dance. I can only speak about the Irish step program. If you value for kid's self esteem, This is NOT your school

I love the teachers there. My one daughter has only done Irish and she lives her teacher. My other has done Irish, ballet, tap, and jazz and she values her teachers. I recommend this studio!
