While I am attending college and not dancing as often anymore, Ms. Donielle and Horizons will always hold a special place in my heart. This was the first studio I walked into feeling accepted and welcomed. The studio is extremely clean and well-taken care of. Horizons is my safe place; I could go express myself and not worry about what anyone thought. I was able to dance and forget about the real world for a few hours every night. Every dancer was there to share our passion and love for dance. We are extremely supportive of each eachother. The bonds I have built with my peers are lifelong and unbreakable; I still talk to them everyday. I have made so many unforgettable memories with them ranging from classes, competitions/conventions, and showcase. I am so thankful to share 5 years of laughter, love, and dance. The quality of training I received at Horizons is beyond amazing; it is truly one of the best places in Berks and surrounding counties to receive an education in dance. In my five years at the studio, I saw a huge improvement in my dancing. The teachers challenged me and overall, I became a better dancer. I finally knew that I was a good dancer; I was truly confident in myself. Ms. Amber, Ms. Haley and Mr. Matt are amazing teachers; I was lucky to take classes from all of them! They are extremely professional, and made learning dance easy and fun. They set an example for every dancer that walks in Horizons. Ms. Donielle is a special teacher and dancer. She is extremely hardworking and puts so much time and energy into each dancer and routine she choreographs; her choreography is unique and brilliant. She created so many beautiful solos for me. She's given me a lot of corrections and knowledge that I applied to my dancing. She taught me life lessons that I used in my first year of college and will continue to use throughout adulthood. I learned that no matter how hard something is, you need to push through it and keep going; never stop or give up just because it gets hard. She is truly one of the most influential role-models I have ever had. I am extremely thankful that I was able to learn from and dance with her. She has made me into the dancer and person I am today.

This was my dance studio throughout high school and also my home. The teachers care not only about us as dancers, but as complicated humans and artists as well. Ms. Donielle (the owner) is one of my biggest role models, and Ms. Haley always amazed with her talent for teaching the younger dancers. I promise that this is the best studio anywhere near this area. Now graduated two years, I always return to Horizons Dance Conservatory whenever I visit home and am welcomed back with open arms: an truly incredible place for hard work but love too.

Horizons Dance Conservatory is an incredible studio where students learn, grow and be inspired. Ms. Donielle and her staff are supportive and meet each student where they are at. They are all very experienced in developing not only athletes but artists. They will work with everyone to meet their specific goals. Not to mention that it is an incredibly fun environment to grow in. Your child will become more confident throughout their time at Horizons not only as a dancer but as an individual as well. Being a part of Horizons something that students will never forget! It is the best studio in this area and I’m lucky to have had my time there!

I’ve been attending Horizons Dance Conservatory since I was in sixth grade and Miss Donielle has taught me everything I know about dance. Horizons has been my second home for years now and I love spending four days a night at the studio. Everyone there is like a little family and the teachers are so knowledgeable and really care about the quality of training they give the kids. I owe Horizons everything for my success in getting into college to be a dance major, and I’m going to miss going there everyday. I definitely recommend Horizons for a high quality dance training with amazing people.

I danced at Horizons for over 10 years and now am an alumni. Horizons is a friendly, hardworking and challenging environment. Director, Ms. Donielle not only challenges her students through dance but also through all aspects of life. She teaches hard work and dedication to all of her students. Ms. Amber and Ms. Haley are also amazing teachers and mentors in the Horizons family. Horizons has created many memories and friendships I will have forever. Taking the leaps to attend Horizons after being at other studios in the area was the best decision I made as a dancer. I wouldn’t be the person I am today if I wouldn’t have attended Horizons. My passion that was created at this studio continued with me and I still dance in college. This is the best studio in the area to attend for a professional level dance education and an amazing environment.
