Groove Juice Swing Reviews
If you're looking to join a wholesome community, connect with friendly fellows, immerse yourself in jazz music, and learn how to social dance, you're looking at the right place! Groove Juice Swing offers great classes, weekly social dance nights (Wednesday 8:30pm-10 pm) with free beginner crash courses, and monthly special dances (often with live music or special themed parties). I started learning swing dance from them since 2017 and have grown so much physically and mentally! They are a group of very supportive instructors, enthusiastic dancers, and down to earth humans. Come check them out and meet new friends!
Mar 11, 2025 · Sylvia ChangI couldn’t be more grateful for this community! Everyone is so welcoming and encouraging. I’ve made amazing friends at GJS and found a true love for Lindy Hop, Charleston, and even Balboa (!). This community is a gift!
May 05, 2025 · Elaine DolanI've always wanted to learn how to dance but never had any formal training in it, so I took a beginner class with some friends who teach here. I was very nervous but had so much fun!! The people all seem super cool, laid back, and welcoming to everyone regardless of skill or experience level. Immediately, I could tell it was a safe space to try something new. I will be back for a class or more Lindy Jams to keep learning and marvel at all of the creative and silly moves that people come up with!
Feb 27, 2025 · David KensekI started dancing at Groove Juice in October 2023 and I’ve been hooked ever since. The folks are kind, friendly and welcoming. The teachers are patient and the content of the classes is within grasp for folks without any experience. After COVID and moving to a new city I was lacking connection and community and was able to find it here. Definitely recommend giving it a try- every Wednesday there is free beginner lesson and there’s always classes going on for different levels. Usually once a month there are live band events too where and even more folks from surrounding cities come out. Great to try once or get involved if you’re looking for a new hobby!
Nov 14, 2024 · Derek GonzalezHighly recommend to anyone looking to try something new or reconnect with swing dancing/Lindy hop! The instructors are patient and make learning fun and easy. No matter your age, background, or skill level, you’ll be having fun, learning, and sharing the joy of dance.
