Gainesville Dance Center Reviews
They were really mean to me at competition when we were chewing on for our teammates when they got up for awards, they said I think you have a mental problem and we got these little things that we can squeak and me and my friend we squeeze them two times and they said oh my God can y’all stop arguing annoying and they are good dancers but mean people
Apr 28, 2025 · Destiny DeMarrMy daughter is a student at Gainesville Dance Center and has been for 4 years. They are very well organized, have a fantastic level of instruction and feature the best facilities in Virginia. We have had a great experience as a family. Highly recommend for all families looking for a place to bring their children to dance!
Jun 01, 2023 · Maegen GonskaMy daughter has ADHD and we've struggled to find classes/teachers that actually work for/with her. She is now enrolled here in the 3-5yr old ballet/tap class. I'm so impressed with Ms Theresa! She's so patient with my daughter and she makes the classes so fun. Instead of just telling the kids what to do she turns it into a fun activity. For example instead of just telling the kids they need to line up at the bar she says the bar is hungry and asks them what snacks they want to give her.The atmosphere in the waiting area is a lot nicer than previous studios we've tried as well. And everyone is so nice and welcoming.
Mar 07, 2023 · Brittany DawsonCaitlyn Nicole Harris· May 8, 2018What an amazing place to grow up! I could not have asked for a better home away from home. Thank you GDC for everything you have given me. Trust me when I say the positivity, and sense of community is infectious once you walk through the door of their beautiful, and spotless facilities. The family owned and operated studio is organized, caring, and understanding. They offer over 110 classes over two locations for ages 3 - adult, for all levels. The teaching staff is highly skilled, with top notch backgrounds that shine through their classes and pieces. Through my dance family I have met some of the most amazing people, and will cherish them for the rest of my life. If your child has a love for dance, or is looking for a place to call home, please take a chance on GDC. You won't be disappointed. Love my Ohana!
