I cannot say enough about this place.Our community is blessed beyond measure to have this gem in it.They have Art classes, music lessons, dance lessons and acting too!They also do birthday parties! (So awesome! They provide decorations, plates, etc! We booked a 2 hour party with instructor. They had it decorated, my daughter wanted a space theme art party and the kids all painted planets for one hour, we did cupcakes and games the following hour) Encore cleaned up too!Thank you Ms Donna!My daughter takes homeschool art Immersion for her grade level They teach her music, movement, art and theaterMs Amy leads a homeschool ukulele class and we love it!Ms Amy is AMAZING. My daughter is loving her piano, ukulele and voice lessons.The dance studio is incredible.We feel like family here. I see students complimenting other students and offering encouragement.The recital costumes are tasteful and not revealing. They don’t encourage make up, no mid drift tops!My daughter has a creative soul and she has been blossoming with this studio. I’m so impressed with the level of dedication each instructor has for their craft and students.

We have been going to Encore Performing Arts Studio in Cameron, NC for various classes and events for the past 5 years. Our daughters have taken dance classes, participated in summer camps over various years which they have loved every single camp they have done (at least 5 different camps over different summers), my 9 yr old has been taking piano for almost 3 years and voice for 5 months. We most recently took advantage of the birthday party option for our 7 yr old. We had a studio for 2 hours, they set up so many beautiful decorations for the theme we selected, we opted for the option to have a dance instructor teach the kids a fun dance to a theme appropriate song, had access to that dance room for other games and play in addition to the studio with the tables and chairs and food and decor. We were able to come a little early to set up the food and a few items we brought, and they did all the clean up after the party ended! They even had pre-printed some activity sheets for the kids to do that matched the theme and had a personalized Happy Birthday right on the sheet which we loved the added touch! All of this for a VERY reasonable price! I highly recommend Encore for all of these reasons and many more and would give them 10 stars if I could, and I NEVER say that! Two thumbs way up! Thank you to all the staff at Encore for your positive and helpful attitudes with all of these endeavors we have been able to experience with you!

My daughter attended “Taste of The Islands Camp” which wrapped up today with a presentation of foods, dance, and music of all the island cultures they explored during the week long camp… including Alaskan Aleutian Islands, Hawaii, Sicily, Madagascar, & Greenland. The kiddos welcomed us, and seated us at tables they had prepared, then they served us food they helped prepare. And then they entertained us parents with some culturally relevant songs and dances. My daughter really enjoyed the experience. Thanks :)

Beautiful studio, very clean well organized and lots of different dance or music classes you can either have your child join or for yourself. Convenient easy to find location. Parent portal is user friendly, they keep us updated with emails and social media posts regularly about recitals,. Billing etc. The teachers are all prompt to their lessons and have amazing love for each of their students. After being here for a year I'd say this is the best dance studio in North Carolina.

I’m just now getting around to posting this. My daughter was a student here for about a year. She did not improve at all in any sort of skill (I was a ballerina who danced professionally for years so I’m well aware of what is and isn’t an age appropriate skill) and there wasn’t any sort of skill they were taught that couldn’t have been taught by a 12 year old in 5 minutes. They are expensive and although I believe some of their instructors have the background to be good at their jobs I feel like they are seriously lacking. We spent $200 on two costumes that didn’t come in on time and were replaced with very obviously a much cheaper style then all the other classes had. I couldn’t help but wonder if they ordered cheaper outfits and then pocketed the remaining amount instead of refunding the difference in price. The other classes costumes were absolutely STUNNING and well worth the money. I know stuff happens and sometimes stuff comes in late I wish there was more transparency there. My daughters classes were also only 45 minutes long and she would never be able to show me any skills but she almost always came home with pages out of a coloring book. I’m not paying you $85 dollars a month for her to color I was paying for you to teach her dance. 5/6 years old is not “too young” and while I get that their attention span might still be short, the class was only 45 minutes long so I suspected a large chunk of the time they were coloring with maybe 15 minutes of dance thrown in. I just feel like so much money was thrown into this place to get very cheap, subpar service in return. It cost $100 to attend my daughters recital which was absolutely not put back into the recital at all. I know there’s costs associated with venues but this was in a church (budget venue for sure) with very VERY budget decor and lighting. I’m assuming they get away with it because they are the only studio within a 30/45 minute drive and with Linden Oaks and the surrounding neighborhoods around here with load of small kids it’s an easy/convenient choice.Safe to say we did not return this year. I put my daughter in a studio in Aberdeen and has already progressed SO much.
