Dance Me

4.0
I signed my daughter up for a summer mini session to try it out, looking for a dance studio to call home. Email and online communication were great. Front desk staff not as helpful as they could have been or forthcoming with info for new people, it was often dark when we walked in 5 minutes before class. Studio felt dirty overall, it was discouraging to see teachers and students wearing street shoes on the dance floor, even though they had signs up saying take them off. Dance floor was definitely dirty. All of the changing rooms were full of stuff so you couldn’t use them to change your kid into dance wear. Lots of noise and distraction from lobby and behind the bar made it difficult for little ones to focus in class. Teachers came in at the last second, a little bit more chaos overall than expected. Instruction was ok. Everyone was relatively nice, but I’m not sure the teacher knew all the kids names (less than 10 kids) by the end of the classes. Pros are that they offer summer sessions and camps at good times that let kids try things out and it was relatively reasonable. - Chelsea R
