It is important to note, however, that one past customer experienced an issue with teacher supervision during a trial class, specifically regarding a young child climbing on a barre, and a subsequent billing discrepancy that led to a negative customer service interaction. While these instances are isolated in the provided feedback, they highlight the importance of clear communication and careful observation for new families, and for the studio to ensure consistency in its administrative processes and safety protocols.

D'Ette & Co Dancers Reviews
My 6-year old loves taking ballet and tap dance at D'Ette & Co. Dancers! Her teacher, Ms. Hailey, is fantastic and keeps the class curriculum invigorating. I love that she invests 1:1 time with each student in addition to group dance ensuring each dancer is right on pace. There are TV monitors set-up in the lobby where you can watch your little dancer in class if you wish to stay and observe. One thing to keep in mind, the school does not pay for the recital venue as other dance schools do. It was a surprise to me that we had to buy tickets for each family member to attend the recital (previous school did not charge the family).
May 17, 2018 · T. EsquivelWe have only been here once (trial) and it was the summer, so this may not be the typical experience. I also have a 3 year old who is a very good climber and in general likes to push the boundaries. She definitely needs supervision but no more than most 3 year olds, in my opinion. I might be biased. This is our 1st kid so we're still learning too and we make plenty of mistakes.PROS: Clean facility, adequate seating area, TV to watch your child instead of huddling around a small viewing window (really convenient), tap/ballet class combined, extra tap shoes in case you forgot them or are doing a trial like us, and multiple class times to attend. They have a lot of positives that make this place worth trying. Here's what bothered us.Cons: My 3.5 yr old daughter, TWICE, climbed on the wall barre and literally put her legs in between the bar and the wall. Impressive, but really scary considering if she would've fallen she could have had her legs trapped and really hurt herself. She was up there for about 1-2 minutes each time and the class instructor was completely turned around paying attention to one kid which I believe was her own. I nearly ran in there to get my kid down the 1st time but she got down before I could. I did stop her the 2nd time. This bothered us that the teacher didn't even notice and honestly this was the reason we did not go back. The other problem we had and really the reason I decided to write a review started with a call, 2 months after her trial, to see if we were still interested in attending classes which we actually were. We were going to give them one more chance. The issue was that they said we owed them a small fee of $35 for 3 summer classes we attended but we only attended 1. I don't care about the money, it's the principle. I said this must have been some sort of mistake since we only went once, but I would check with my wife to see if she took my daughter without me. I called my wife and she verified that she hadn't taken her and my 3 year old was grounded from driving so I'm not sure how this was possible. Nevertheless, the lady stated that Sadie had indeed been there 3x's and that money was owed. The tone of the person on the phone was very accusatory and it was obvious she thought I wasn't being honest. Ultimately, she reluctantly stated that it would be taken care of it but never admitted that they made a mistake. This really bothered me. It's still worth trying if you're looking for a ballet studio, the lack of attention at her trial might not be the norm but the attitude problem with the teacher, I believe the owner, seems to be a pattern according to my experience and a few other reviews. We all have bad days/moments and this may have been the case. Still, if you're a business owner you really should hold yourself to a higher standard when dealing with potential customers when a discrepancy arises. I'm not saying you should let customers run all over you but at least be respectful and consider that there's a realistic chance you made a mistake. I know I did until I verified with my wife. The ballet studio lost $800+ in potential annual revenue because of the lack of respect given to me, not the $35. I wish them all the luck and I'm sure they'll figure out a way to fix these issues so that it doesn't dissuade any other person from joining. We will not be attending ever again. I welcome the owners response.
Sep 24, 2018 · Ehsteaf RodriguezJust walked out of this place with my daughter. The instructor today was HORRIBLE! I would not recommend anyone spend a penny at this place or even waste your time trying a class out. My 3 year old daughter walked out terrified of this lady. She was yelling and talking down on these kids. Businesses like this do not need people like that working for them.
Mar 26, 2015 · Erica RuizWe've been dancing at Dette's for about 10 years now, it's always felt like family there. I have two daughters 13 and 9 they both love it, they've built confidence through dance and Dette's leadership, they can't wait for this up coming year.
Aug 13, 2017 · Brandon PaceI would not go there. My daughter and I walked in and she was so happy but when class was over she ran to me and was bawling in my arms. Don't go there. It's horrible. Trust me I went there once before as a child.
