Cumberland Dance Academy Reviews
My daughter danced at Cumberland Dance Academy for 14 years. She absolutely loved it and it was her happy place. They have taught her so much more than dance. She still looks forwarding to visiting when she comes home from college. They are the absolute best in Fayetteville!
Apr 24, 2025 · Crystal RampeyI really want to give 5 stars, but today was my daughter's first dance class. The ladies were nice enough. I thought there would be some more information given out. Like my kid is turning 6, and it's her first time in a real dance class. We never got introduced to her teacher either. It may be because this is the 1st week of Fall classes. The "waiting area" isn't very big. Again this is our 1st time. Not sure what I expected lol.I may change my review after coming a few times, but my first impression wasn't exactly what I thought was it going to be like.Edit:It's been a few weeks. I really do like the place. My daughter seems to enjoy her time here as well. I'm still only giving a 4 star because I feel like there isn't enough communication between teacher and parent. I don't know. Maybe I'm over thinking it, but I like to be involved in what my daughter is learning.
Nov 08, 2024 · Elizabeth BallI called and told them I was interested in enrolling my daughter for private dance class. I was told they would call me back once they find a dance teacher for her…welllll it’s been weeks and I have not heard back from anyone. So thanks for keeping me and my daughter updated.
Oct 06, 2024 · grace RMy Daughter went to this studio for 3 years and know that this studio is absolutely amazing! If you want your child to learn serious technique and become an amazing dancer this place is for you. If your child is willing to work hard great things will follow. just know the instructors at this studio are fun but very serious when it comes to competition students. They expect extra hard work and dedication from the top tier of students and do not put up with any less.
Apr 09, 2019 · alina gaudioIt's kind of hard to review off of a summer session only but the studio was great. The people at the desk were really helpful. They were willing and able to answer all our questions. I think my daughter would have been happy here but we tried another brand new studio in the area and she just connected with the instructors there better. She liked their teaching style much better as well. The summer session was a bit disjointed and we never knew where she was supposed to be (which studio) and had to ask each time. Again it was a summer session but the younger instructors just didn't communicate with us so that's why the 4 instead of 5 stars.
