Apr 22, 2025 · Sumathy PrakashA parents greatest reward is to see your child happy, to be loved, have a sense of accomplishment, confident, have a sense of belonging and to grow. I can personally say after a few months at CM School of Fine Arts that I have received these rewards. Miss Collette, the Director has created an environment for the children to openly express themselves, build relationships with their teachers and fellow students, have a sense of purpose and to grow artistically at their own pace. I also have built relationships with fellow parents, the teachers and Miss Collette. We are excited to have been accepted into this artistic family.
Apr 09, 2025 · Pam HoeferThis school is truly a special place. All the teachers are extremely talented and dedicated to helping their students achieve their full musical potential. I’ve been going here for 10+ years now and have been so blessed. I have won multiple national awards for my music with the help of the school, and I could not recommend it more to those wanting to learn music.

Mar 01, 2025 · Julie RoystonThere are many reasons why I see CM School of Fine Arts as a treasure of New York. Most importantly, it is a confidence builder for young learners and serves as an "island of hope" for parents seeking nurturing and high quality human-centric environments. Our 12-years old son is learning acting, painting and piano here. It is a joy to watch his transformation from being a somewhat shy kid to an explorer driven by curiosity and confident performer boldly discovering his unique artistic talents, finding his own voice, and blossoming. "It is so much fun with all my friends here", he says with a smile, heads up.Thanks to the super-talented director Colette whose extraordinary lifetime achievement is in soul-stirring display here. Collette's genius is also evident in the type of teachers she attracts. Her team of remarkably devoted teachers excel in their craft.Piano teacher Lynn personalizes student journeys brilliantly and delightfully and takes genuine joy in seeing students grow in unique ways. Lynn's approach to teaching compares, in my view, with the finest in the world.Acting teacher Raphael is our own Marlon Brando whose class is loved for the skills - communication, social interactions, leadership, thinking on the spot, and bonding as a team - which are critically needed in the post-pandemic world.Maria with voice-coaching teaches how to "deliver" the song and routinely lifts our spirits to new heights. Kent, having trained with Pink Floyd, teaches the nuances of lively drum beats. Parents, while waiting to pick up kids get immersed in this artistically stimulating milieu, often experience a transportation to concert-like extraordinary experiences.Lana in the art classes inspires with her impressive artistic accomplishments and is also able to speak the lingo of the GenZ kids while giving them instructions on art projects. She plays music the kids choose and the "vibe" of art classes become wonderfully festive every time. Finally, Dorene is always supportive with the scheduling. The difference here is a human connection and genuine relationships with a shared goal to excel joyfully. CM School of Fine Arts affirms our common humanity and helps us connect to the child within. This is why I see CM School of Fine Arts as a treasure of Clifton Park and highly recommend it.
