It is important for prospective students and families to be aware that while the studio generally fosters a positive environment, some past experiences have involved communication methods that may be perceived as less sensitive, particularly regarding feedback given to younger dancers. This is an isolated but notable point from provided public reviews, and while one parent found a "report card" before a recital to be "negative" and "crushing" for their young child, the parent also emphasized their grandchild's continued love for the class and intention to return. This suggests that while individual instances of communication may be perceived differently, the core passion for dance and the overall dedication to teaching remain strong. Families considering enrollment may wish to discuss communication styles or feedback processes with the studio directly to ensure alignment with their expectations.

Clann Na Cara Irish Dance Reviews
My daughter has been dancing with Clann Na Cara since she was 4 years old. Her love for Irish dance grows with each passing year. You will find her dancing everywhere she goes, even in school. Her passion and desire to dance comes from the hard working, dedicated, and talented teachers that teacher her at every class. As a group they not only want the students to grow as dancers but as people. The confidence built each year is through the the teachers. They have built "a family of friends" which shows at each studio. practice, event and feis. Thank you for taking the time to share your passion with our children.
Jun 07, 2019 · KLEEH KATHERINESo disgusted with Clann Na Cara! Today, one week before the recital they hand out their "report cards" for the year. My 5 year old grand daughter received the most negative report! It could have been worded much nicer and waited until after the recital. It totally burst our bubble as we were so excited for her recital. Even great grandma is coming in for the recital. Now no one wants to even go but the saddest part is my granddaughter loves the class. Why would you be so cruel before the recital. If could have waited until after the recital to hand out this crushing piece of paper!! They obviously do not want my grand daughter to show up for the recital but we will! And if she still loves it she WILL take classes next year as well! You will not kill her spirit with your negativism! You disgust me! If you are considering a dance studio for you child I would look elsewhere least they attempt to squash your child's spirit!
Jun 07, 2019 · Tamara AustinFantastic team of teachers with diverse skill sets and interests. CNC has, in my opinion, the strongest adult Irish dance program in NY state, if not the entire Mid-Atlantic region. I'd recommend CNC to any person of ANY age who is interested in learning traditional Irish dance.
