Hello, I recently was able to see this dance company at the Cooper Memorial Library. The young girls who perform were great and it was a good production for story time. What I am disappointed about is the actions I seen from the director. There was a little girl of color and she was raised her hand and of course all the other kids were getting pick and then she only acknowledge her after the kid responded with facial expressions to another question in her response was meh..next at the end of the performance, I and another person of color m waited for our seeds to be given to our small children and I am not sure what was going on but she bypassed us several times. The woman in front if me touched her once, no response just kept walking and then again and she finally turned around and gave her the seeds. I literally came up right behind her and she ignored me too but she made sure to she all the other kids quickly. It sucks having that feeling but thank goodness my 18 month has no conception of that aspect of life. Next time just be more aware your atmosphere. - Jamika Richardson
