Brasil Brasil Cultural Center Reviews
Wonderful people and music with the exception of an employee who patrols all the dancers during Sunday instruction, pulling them aside to yell that they "stay in the line". When she pulled me aside I said to her I was in the line, and she yelled at me, "you are wrong! Stay in your line!" I planned to come back to this place with my family, but given said level of policing and rudeness during instruction which I find bizarre to say the least, I will not be returning.
Feb 24, 2025 · Zayda Sorrell MedinaThis studio is one of a kind! I’d been told to come here and after the pandemic I finally made it - I got to try adult Capoeira classes (the intro week is amazing), and a more than a handful of different classes (the unlimited monthly is definitely worth it). I am so happy to have found Ashley - her Afro-Dancehall classes are everything you could dream of from warming up, drills, breaking down choreography, energy, atmosphere- she really creates a fun environment!!!
Jan 05, 2023 · Desirée LeeI just got a reminder that I have been training with Mestre Amen and Brasil Brasil Cultural Center for a year now. I am in Washington state were the closest Capoeira program is two hours away minimum. So I trained remotely even before the pandemic. Mestre Amen and everyone in the program have been incredibly accommodating and amazing. I can't recommend enough taking classes here.
