Berkeley Ballet Theater Reviews
I had a poor experience here. Tried out a contemporary movement class for all levels. The teacher seemed more into dancing her choreography than teaching it to the different levels of dancers in front of her. It reflected no understanding of teaching to different levels and bodies .
Mar 19, 2024 · Karianne BurnsBBT is a gem in the East Bay. They have a variety of Ballet Classes, nice big studios, and great teachers who are knowledgable and welcoming. I finally found my dance home on this side of the bridge! I would like to see live accompaniment in the adult beginning classes, not just the advanced/company classes, however. It makes a huge difference
May 23, 2023 · Tamar's TrainingThe West Berkeley location has much nicer studios than the old location, which almost makes up for being so far from UC Berkeley campus!
Oct 31, 2017 · Shreyas PatankarThese performances are always well done and so beautiful. I love the direction and design, and the theater is such an intimate space. See them!
Apr 22, 2013 · Megan TvedtI love the adult classes!
