Ballet Conservatory Reviews
The Ballet Conservatory was very welcoming to my 4 dancers male and female ages 12-20 when we moved here from out of state to their school. What drew us to this dance conservatory was the variety of classes, experienced instructors and their attention to technique. From the Artistic Director, Mrs. Kelly Lannin to the front desk with Becky, all of the children are made to feel as investments. That they are seen and part of something fun, yet disciplined and creative.Dancers learn respect of self and others as well and that carries on in their lives outside of dance. My college age child achieved her dance goals of not just being accepted on auditions at universities, but also earn top scholarships. This in part from the instructors helping her polish her dance solo and investing in her even as a “new girl”.We highly recommend giving this studio a try!

The director, Kelly Lannin, is an excellent role model and she hires teachers/staff who are excellent as well. Our whole family loved the experience and the life lessons it taught our daughter. We moved to another state and could never find a place as special as this dance studio. Our daughter learned proper technique and it carried her far in life. Ballet Conservatory and its associated company, Lake Cities Ballet Theatre, gave our daughter fabulous training as well as priceless memories for our entire family. This studio and dance company will always have a special place in our hearts.

Jan 11, 2024 · Gina MillerI took my 3 yr. old to Ballet Conservatory because we were new to the area and she needed some socialization. We started in the summer. She loved her 1st dance class and her teacher, Mrs. W., who was wonderful with the littles. I enrolled her in the fall and she continued taking dance there until she graduated high school! She took various different types of dance through out the years, but ballet ended up being her favorite type of dance. She had many very good teachers through out her years at BC. As a parent, I was delighted to find an activity my daughter enjoyed and she made some life long friends along the way. I was really impressed with the level of instruction and how fun the teachers made dance (the recitals are amazing—-especially the advanced levels!). My little girl learned, not only dance steps at BC, but a lot of other life lessons that helped her mature into a young adult.

Jul 17, 2022 · Heike CullumMy daughter studied at The Ballet Conservatory for 10 years under the direction of Kelly Lannin and her talented staff of teachers who all had an impassioned love for the art of dance and its many forms. Classical ballet was my daughter's first love, and she was able to enjoy jazz, modern, tap, and musical theatre, as well. The studio was our second home. As the saying goes, "It takes a village." Hard work, persistence, determination, dedication, and an unyielding desire to be your best are a few of the things that my daughter learned during her time at The Ballet Conservatory. Not only will your child learn to dance from the best, she will learn important life lessons that will ensure success wherever life takes her. I highly recommend The Ballet Conservatory!
