Atlanta Ballet - Buckhead Centre Introduce
Welcome, fellow Georgians! If you're passionate about the art of dance, or if you're looking for an enriching activity for yourself or your children, then the Atlanta Ballet - Buckhead Centre is a name you absolutely need to know. As a vital part of the renowned Atlanta Ballet Centre for Dance Education, this Buckhead location offers a gateway into the world of ballet and beyond. It’s a place where discipline meets artistic expression, fostering growth and a deep appreciation for dance, whether you're taking your very first steps or refining advanced techniques.
The Atlanta Ballet - Buckhead Centre is designed to be a "professional and artistic haven," as described by one satisfied patron who praises its "brilliant instruction, poise, and a strong sense of community." This sentiment highlights the nurturing environment where "the beauty of ballet shines through." This center offers an "unparalleled experience that celebrates the art of dance with grace and skill," welcoming both "seasoned dancers or a newcomer." However, it's worth noting that perceptions can vary. While many laud the professional instruction and overall environment, some parents, particularly concerning younger students' performances, have expressed differing expectations. One review mentioned, "The performance - which is a lot of extra money - was about 40 seconds. My daughter has participated at other studios and they are able to do an entire song - with choreography! For the amount of snootiness you have to put up with here - I was really astounded they would have you pay hundreds of dollars and then only have the kids do such a short performance." This feedback, while specific to performance length, points to the high standards and potentially different performance philosophies compared to other studios. Despite this, the same reviewer also noted that "our teacher was very sweet," indicating a positive classroom experience. It's clear that the Centre aims for a high level of artistic integrity, and while performance formats may differ from expectations, the core instruction is highly valued.

Atlanta Ballet - Buckhead Centre Reviews
The performance - which is a lot of extra money - was about 40 seconds. My daughter has participated at other studios and they are able to do an entire song - with choreography! For the amount of snootiness you have to put up with here - I was really astounded they would have you pay hundreds of dollars and then only have the kids do such a short performance. The work that goes into getting the kids to the classes all year, then to the performance with the whole family - for that - it is truly incredible how little came of it. I can say our teacher was very sweet.

Jan 20, 2024 · Dawnyale TurnerAs a dad of a daughter who had danced for AB for 9+ years this facility is awful: HVAC is not sufficient for the people and square footage, the space is also run down and overall it’s very lack luster for the money spent for my daughter to dance w AB.
Jul 26, 2024 · A DI went here for an adult tap class. I was originally worried because It was a little out of my comfort zone since I had no idea what to expect. The staff and teacher were both very nice and helpful. I am very new to tap dancing and was definitely in over my head. The lesson didn't jump back to the super basics because I came and since they only had a single class I would not want them to. I learned a lot, and though I may not have been able to keep up with the flurry of new moves it makes me excited to be able to learn more faster when I go back.
