SALSAtlanta, Inc Reviews
Love to see more events posted together like this and I like the cooperation in promoting events across the various instructors and dance schools, it’s more fun for all when there are bigger crowds and coordinating instead of competing events.
Dec 14, 2024 · Deborah SorgelI first met Julian during Memorial weekend last year in New Orleans at the Bookoo Rueda Cuban Dance Festival. I then had the pleasure of taking his workshop in Atlanta during their festival and again in New Orleans in May 2016. He is a great instructor who helped to breakdown the most complicated moves. He simply enjoys dancing and promoting the Casino style.
May 27, 2016 · darren mireBest place to learn Casino/Cuban Style salsa in the city. Learning from Julian and his crew is like joining a new family that just like to learn and have a good time. Casino is that high energy salsa where you may switch partners and dance in a circle. It's a lot of fun. No partner required.Classes are offered on Sundays and they hold parties at Taverna Plaka on Friday nights which includes a free class. There are also several big events throughout the year to bring together salsa lovers from all over.
Aug 31, 2014 · Marisa MooreI had the pleasure to meet and take my first lesson with Julian Mejia earlier this month at a Bookoo Rueda sponsored workshop in New Orleans. Julian is a masterful teacher and a wonderful group leader. He has amazing insights that bring a special richness and quality to the movement found in Cuban dance. I am excited to see him and SalsAtlanta in action at 2016 Bailatlanta. I can’t wait! Thank you!!
May 27, 2016 · Melissa LeeBeen going here for under two years. People are great and classes are broken up into various levels. I've been to other salsa classes where there were only two groups. I always have fun at the socials even when i'm taking a break from dancing. Private classes are available as well for those looking to ramp up faster.
