Arthur Murray Dance Studio Manhattan 5th Avenue Reviews
My husband and I came here to learn our first dance for our wedding and it was a wonderful experience! We didn't use a very typical first dance song, but it was received with enthusiasm and excitement for the challenge. They worked very closely with us to make sure that we understood the choreography and felt confident in our first dance. As a professional dancer myself, but not in ballroom, it was a great experience learning a couple new techniques. For my husband, who doesn't dance much, he was able to pick up the choreography fairly easy with everyones help, and lead me perfectly on wedding day! All of the staff was so awesome and welcoming as well! We laughed at each session, regardless of the instructor, and you can tell that they genuinely care about their students. We were also given an opportunity to come to a practice party where we learned some new techniques and performed our first dance in front of an audience for the first time. It was a really great insight for what to expect on our wedding day. The only downside, is that it is quite expensive. But, we knew we wanted a great first dance with some awesome choreography and instructors, so we were willing to pay for the quality that we received. I highly recommend coming here if you are looking for a crowd pleaser and a fun and intimate first dance for your wedding!

Nov 09, 2024 · ChristyMy wife and I have been dancing with the great staff at Arthur Murray Manhattan for about three months now, and are well on our way to our Bronze 1 certification. Our private instruction with Aleksander has been phenomenal, and the group lessons and dance parties on top of the lessons have been a great way for us to learn more and get some much needed time together in our too busy NYC lifestyle.I had never danced prior to this, and couldn't be happier with our choice of location and people to give us instruction.
