Altitude Pole Fitness & Aerial Arts Reviews
Altitude Pole Fitness & Aerial Arts is where my alter ego comes to life! Think less “regular me” and more “gravity-defying badass.” The variety of classes is incredible, letting me choose between pole, silks, hoop, and more based on my skill level (or how ambitious I’m feeling that day). The instructors? Absolute gems, beautiful inside and out, somehow making me feel both challenged and like a rockstar, even when I’m tangled in ways I didn’t know were possible. Thanks to them, I’ve rebuilt my confidence, embraced my strength, and fully accepted that bruises are just “aerial tattoos.” Every class leaves me feeling stronger, more empowered, and slightly addicted to the adrenaline rush. I seriously can’t wait to go back, because why walk through life when you can spin, climb, and fly instead?
Mar 04, 2025 · Nallely SeguraMy daughter recently tried the kids’ aerial silks class at Altitude Fitness in Frisco and absolutely loved it. She attended a trial class on Tuesday, May 27, and I was told by staff that parents are not allowed in the room until the last 10 minutes of class. I respected that rule and only entered at the appropriate time. Based on how much she enjoyed it, I signed her up for the weekly Tuesday 5:30 PM class, even though the timing is less than ideal. We have to leave the house by 5 PM to make it on time for a 50-minute class. Still, I was happy to support her interest. However, during our second visit on Tuesday, June 3, I had a disappointing experience that I feel other parents should be aware of. After dropping off my daughter, I parked and sat quietly in the lobby. Two staff members (one blonde, one brunette) approached me and asked if I was there for a class. I explained that I was just waiting for my daughter. One of them told me that parents are technically not allowed to wait in the lobby while their children are in class, citing past issues where parents tried to coach or distracted their kids. For the record, I did not do any of that during the previous class.. I followed all rules and was not a distraction in any way. The blonde staff member said if they allowed me to wait, they’d have to let all parents wait—even though there are only 4–5 kids in the class. The brunette suggested I go to a nearby Starbucks, but at 5:40 PM, drinking coffee isn’t a great option for me. When I explained that, she replied, “It was just a suggestion.”What bothered me most is that this policy was never explained during registration or at the trial class. Had I known that parents aren’t allowed to wait in the lobby, I would have considered whether this was the right environment for us. Unfortunately, due to how this situation was handled, this may be our last month at Altitude Fitness. I hope they consider being more transparent and flexible with parents moving forward. Bottom line: proceed at your own risk.I am currently writing this cautionary tale while patiently waiting in my car and not in the lobby.
Jun 04, 2025 · Marjorie BreihanJust be careful when booking. Instructions are NOT quite clear. I paid $80 for for my sister and I to do a “drop in” class ! KEY WORD “drop in” so when I get there everything “all booked up”! And to add salt to the wound i can’t get my refund!!! There is a no refund policy! I don’t live in town I live in Arizona and there are NO locations in Arizona. So I can’t even get my money back. Seems a bit shady to have a no refund policy!!!! I may just have to dispute with my bank! I was visiting in town and wanted to try something new and this place totally blew my excitement!!! And $40 isn’t cheap to talk away from.
Mar 02, 2025 · Jalone LandrumThis place is AMAZING! My daughter & her friend went for the aerial yoga for the first time & they absolutely loved it. They got a great workout and an even better overall experience. Also, Tricia is the sweetest! She was super kind & welcoming. They will definitely be going back!
May 29, 2025 · Tonya LovelaceI can’t say enough good things about this studio. I absolutely love going to Altitude. I’ve interacted with multiple instructors, and it’s always been an awesome experience. They are caring, attentive, they go out of their way to make people feel included. They cheer people on. They create an atmosphere I can honestly say I’ve never seen anywhere else—it could have been a competitive vibe due to the nature of the art, but it’s not, it’s the opposite, and the students take on the positive, supportive energy of the instructors, and it becomes a place everyone can feel supported in their aerial journey. The studio is clean, they care about the safety of the students, they even have cute decorations for different holidays. The awesome Owner Tricia knows the students’ names, and she makes sure to interact with us. The classes have made me stronger, healthier, and frankly they helped me avoid postpartum depression. The days I don’t have any classes scheduled, I miss being there. Overall, I absolutely love it there. Please keep adding more classes!! :)
