Furthermore, VCA occasionally features Sensory Friendly performances, which include increased lighting, lower sound levels, smaller audience sizes, and a relaxed environment, making them suitable for a wider range of sensory needs. Service animals are also welcome on campus, provided they remain leashed or harnessed. These comprehensive accessibility features demonstrate VCA's dedication to ensuring that everyone in the Washington region can enjoy their artistic offerings.

★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1Lovely spot for classic arts and entertainment. If you’re planning a weekend to Vashon, make sure it’s for First Friday where galleries are open late and each month there’s a new artist exhibit here at Vashon Center for the Arts (VCA). Enjoyed this month’s (October 2021) exhibit of works by local artists Rebecca Welti (“Oceanic Proportions”) and Casey Curran (“Parable of Gravity”).
Oct 02, 2021 · Janine CzarThis space is beautiful, comfortable and welcoming. The seats are nice, the acoustics were great.Mostly volunteer staff the night we attended the event. With the current Covid protocols, felt they handled things pretty good.
Dec 20, 2021 · Karen ContrerasVery beautiful facility. We went for the opening of a friends exhibit and it was amazing. We had such a blast! Congrats Kirista!!
Mar 07, 2020 · ToddI live this place. It has so much s live show in real life. The place is very beautiful. Highly recommend this place if you want to see some live show at the VCA.
Jun 26, 2024 · SafaA very nice new venue, albeit a bit loud during intermission and prior to shows due to the concrete floor and acoustics of the foyer. Some of the ticket prices seem very high, but there's not a bad seat in the house. The organization hosts some lovely events, and provides arts education for all ages. The gallery spaces have interesting shows of both local artists and others on themes of local interest. There are rooms used for both education and community work. This is for the more "traditional" arts, and mixed with other more quirky island venues, provides a facility that is especially comfortable for people who need more amenities. There is adequate accommodation made for people in wheelchairs, too. Become a member to receive discounts and other perks while supporting the arts. Classes for all ages, as well.
