The school strikes the perfect balance between creating a fun, welcoming environment and teaching solid ballet technique. The instructors do an excellent job of introducing proper technique, such as barre work and ballet positions, in a way that is age-appropriate and engaging for young dancers. Students can wear what they feel comfortable in, and also get to learn the stories behind traditional ballets at the end of each class. Tutu School also offers optional recitals, which are a wonderful opportunity for students to demonstrate what they have learned alongside their teachers and peers in front of family and friends in a warm and supportive environment.
