(Review mentions "informal showcase" and preparation for a "school's dance team" indicating performance focus).

The Dance Studio Reviews
I have been taking lessons at The Dance Studio for 8 years now and have had a great experience here. When I first started taking lessons, Mrs. Debbie was very welcoming and has continued to make sure I've felt comfortable ever since. This studio is where my love for dance began, and when I was entering high school Mrs. Debbie encouraged me to try out for my school's dance team. Being a member of my school's dance team the entirety of high school, I am extremely grateful that Mrs. Debbie believed in me and supported me throughout the process. This studio has given me a strong foundation in ballet technique that has allowed me to confidently explore other styles of dance. Having taken classes here for many years, I have been challenged continually and given opportunities to grow. I am extremely grateful for the community that The Dance Studio has been for me through all these years.

Sep 14, 2022 · Chinchin WengI am a mom of 4 daughters. The oldest one is 16. All of my 4 daughters have been with the Dance Studio since they were 4 or 5. They all enjoy the classes, teachers and classmates in this wonderful studio. The teachers are all very friendly and skillful. The director, Ms. Debbie is especially thoughtful and considerate. She listened to all of my concerns and tried her best to meet my requests. My daughters are all national fencers so they trained and traveled for fencing competitions a lot. They also love to dance so they don’t want to give up dancing because of busy and inflexible fencing and traveling schedule. Ms. Debbie managed to put my daughters in a group lesson that’s not conflict with their fencing schedule and squeezed her own time to give my daughters another private lessons. Their dance skill, body flexibility and posture were well built, trained and developed in the past years. All of the performance choreographies are created by the teachers in the studio. In this year’s performance, Ms. Debbie created a special dance skit just for my daughters named “Sisters”. It’s such a gorgeous, beautiful, and definitely classical ballet skit. I’m truly thankful for the Dance Studio that makes my daughters’ ballerina dreams come true and provide a place that inspires them to enjoy the art of dancing. I recommend the studio to my friends and will continue doing it.
Aug 24, 2018 · Heather LiuI really enjoyed my experience here. The teachers are great, and they give constructive feedback. I also do color guard and we have to be able to dance, so I came here to improve myself. I have not danced since I was in second grade, but the teachers were encouraging, so I caught on quickly. They have strengthened my basics while helping me become more accurate. I also really enjoy the combination moves that we do because they challenge me to step out of my comfort zone and become better. I’ve become more confident in dancing, and I can now more quickly grasp new choreo. Both my parents and I have been able to see tremendous improvement. I have better posture as well. I do recommend this studio as I know that they will help you improve your technique in dancing while having a good time as they have done so for me.
Aug 23, 2018 · Alicia ChuangI don't have a great experience with Ms Debbie. It feels overwhelming that Ms Debbie aggressively asks about details of our schedule while i have my own judgment to decide when to take classes. Also the conversation becomes a bit personal when I am not persuaded and would like to hold back.It is not quite professional considering the studio has been there for such long time.No refind as promised yet. Will keep update until the issue get resolved.
