Academy of Chinese Performing Arts (ACPA) Reviews
Stay away from this place!!!My daughter had bad experience here. The teacher plays favorites and clearly only focuses on a select few students, giving them all the attention and opportunities. If you're not part of that circle, you're basically invisible and always stand on the sidelines. After dancing here for a few years, my daughter didn't learn much.Save your time, money, and energy--this dance school won't invest in you.
Sep 24, 2024 · Rachel WI've been taking classes here for around 9 years now, and I absolutely love it. The teachers are great-- not only are they good at their job, but they're very caring to their students. The classes are a ton of fun, and I've met and made a lot of lifelong friends here.On the flip side, the facilities are not the best. I do prefer the older studios ACPA was located at, but it's not a huge problem for me.
Apr 21, 2022 · CynI've been dancing here for almost 11 years now and I can confidently say that dancing here has helped me grow not only as a dancer, but as a person. The level of discipline and training at this studio is unmatched to other studios I've been to. I've learned how to push myself harder and how to persevere through challenges. I have also been culturally enriched through my experience with this studio. I've learned different ethnic cultures and their dances and have been truly immersed in my own culture. This studio offers a variety of different ethnic styles of dance, ballet, contemporary, hiphop for all different ages. The teachers truly care about you and treat you like you are family. They will always go the extra mile for their students. Many times, they will work overtime with no pay just to accompany you through competition (which could last long periods of time) or give you some extra training. Though the classrooms may be a bit modest, I highly recommend this studio.
