The Ballet Studio Reviews
I'm like a lot of people who danced seriously when I was younger. When I decided to go back to ballet -- after several decades! -- it was hard to find a place that focused on dancers like me: Someone who wanted a studio that focused on classical technique but that also celebrated the joy of ballet. The Ballet Studio provides that exact combination: Every class helps me build my skills while also providing a welcoming community with wonderful people -- both the teachers and the dancers.
Jan 30, 2025 · Devorah KnaffMy first adult beginner's class was last night. A very lovely experience. I wanted to learn more about ballet and move more Gracefully on stage. Clean & nice studio. The normal Barre & Mirrors along the wall. The teacher showed us the moves , performing them with us & corrects alignment of your body. The teacher & fellow students were lovely. Easy to understand & follow instructions. I got a nice workout without feeling I was hurting myself. A great way to introduce yourself to the skills it takes to be a ballerina. I look forward to more classes here. Also included in the 10 week beginner's course is a stretch class on Sundays. A great deal. 10 weeks of classes only 150.00.
Oct 19, 2023 · Georgia FrankI have been going to The Ballet Studio since 2017. It has always been a welcoming place for EVERYBODY: ALL ages, skill levels, physical ability, you name it. The teachers all very knowledgeable, patient, good humored and with different styles of teaching, which is very useful, because we get different perspectives. I take 6 hours of ballet every week: 4 hours of technique and 2 of stretching. The other day I noticed how every one of us is getting into shape after the pandemic. It is a great workout, our technique is getting better and we are having fun. Tuition is very reasonable and, Vaughn, the owner, bless her heart, keeps the air conditioning working in summer and the heat in winter. That, I am told, is a real plus!
Oct 10, 2022 · Gloria AlbuquerqueI have been taking classes at the Ballet Studio for over a year and I highly recommend it for anyone who wants to enhance their life with Dance.I get so many positive comments from friends and family and even complete strangers about my posture and fitness it's amazing and when they ask how I do it I always tell them the same thing, it's Ballet! The instructors are amazing! I have taken only a few classes from Kendra and Sam and can't wait to take more they are amazing! As a beginner I have been instructed by Heidi for over a year and can definitely recommend her and the Ballet Studio for anyone new to ballet. She has expertly made corrections for my foot positions, posture and balance and a year later my feet are in great shape and my foot, leg and back pains from poor posture and bad habits are gone and I attribute this to simply showing up to class and following her instructions. And the best part is it's so much fun!Well I have to get ready for class now or I would write so much more about it but all I can say is how thankful I am for Heidi and the Studio, and for the decision i made a year ago to get off of my couch, go to the Ballet Studio and Dance!
