That's Dancin' Reviews
If you’re looking for a studio that teaches the foundations of dance and technique, look no further! I grew up dancing at That’s Dancin’ and now my daughter is enrolled in their fun and creative dance instruction. Teachers are experienced and knowledgeable in dance education and artistry. Family run studio that is a neighborhood staple for over 37 years!
Oct 10, 2024 · Maria BelloneThat’s Dancin’ is an amazing, award winning dance studio that I am lucky to call a second home for my daughter. I grew up dancing there, as did my sister, family members, and some of my closest friends to this day, and now my daughter has been dancing there for almost 8 years. The quality of dance, technique, choreography, focus and discipline is like no other, all while having fun! Ms Debbie, Ms Heather and Ms Kristen are wonderful, talented, supportive dance teachers that have provided my daughter with such confidence doing what she loves, teamwork and life lessons she will remember always. She has made some of her best friends there, and since moving out of Queens, we still keep her dancing there 4 (or more!) days a week because she loves it so much. I couldn’t imagine life without That’s Dancin’ in it….It’s the best of the best!
Jan 16, 2023 · Nicole CampanellaI am shocked and disgusted to see that anyone could write such a hurtful and mean spirited review bashing the studio owner Debra Nizza. My daughter has been dancing at That's Dancin since she was 2 years old she is now going to be turning 13. Ms. Debbie is nothing but caring, compassionate and always giving the children encouragement. She treats everyone like they were her own children. That's Dancin is my daughters second home, she has made friendships that will last a lifetime. It's like our 2nd family. There is not a mean, arrogant or racist bone in her body and she will not tolerate any bullying in her studio. She encourages all the children to do their absolute best. She has a heart of gold and it shows when you see how all the children love and respect her. It's complete and utter garbage if anyone says anything to the contrary about her and her studio. They provide a dance education that is rated second to none.
Apr 28, 2018 · John LaPorta09That’s Dancin’ has been a part of my life for over 25 years. I started as a student when I was 8 years old. Debra Nizza was my teacher and everyone in class always looked up to and had much respect for her. After my dancing years, it was my baby sister’s turn to be a student at That’s Dancin. She started at the age of 3 and danced there till she was 18 years old. What a blessing this school was for my sister. She became a company team member and spent her after school hours with her 2nd family under the caring and watchful eye of Ms. Debbie. Besides learing the technique of dancing, you are also taught what it take to work as a team. I am so thrilled to carry on my relationship with That’s Dancin with my now 5 year old daughter who began at the school when she was 2. It is truly amazing to watch how much she has grown in 3 short years as a dancer under the guidance of Ms. Debbie, Heather, Kristen, Nicole, and Maria. If you want a dance school that teaches the real fundamentals of dance, enroll your child here. There is no comparison.
May 04, 2018 · Melinda KnappThat's Dancin' is a welcoming and secure haven where our girls feel safe and inspired. How it saddens me to read such negative comments about a woman who has dedicated her life to her dance studio and her dancers. Obviously, the ONE individual writing such comments does NOT know Ms. Debra Nizza. My daughter has been at the studio since the age of 2; she is now almost 11! In the 8 plus years we have spent at this studio, we have NEVER EVER experienced or witnessed any behavior that is negative or discouraging. Debra Nizza's attitude and approach to ALL her students is genuine and sincere. She is dedicated to ALL her students and it is evident in all she does. Ms. Nizza respects and inspires her students to be the best they can be. How sad it is that anyone would feel the need to publicly bash a person who serves her students, "Her kids" as she refers to her dancers, with such compassion and kindness. Anyone and everyone who has had an encounter with Ms. Debbie, as she is affectionately referred to by all who love her, will stand tall next to her. Debra A. Nizza is a one-of-a-kind director, teacher, mentor, mother, grandmother! If you are reading this review, and you want your child to grow as a dancer, find or pursue a passion for dance and self-expression....That's Dancin' is the studio for you and your child!
