Syracuse City Ballet Reviews
We paid $135 dollars to watch the nutcracker, and we saw what can only be described as a high school play (at best).Dancers kept missing their marks, a shoe came undone during a dance, every dance number had a minuscule number of dancer, and the only ‘professional’ dancer’s performance had the technical skill of a teenager. I did ballet in high school, and my classmates could have done anything that was done there.I love supporting the arts and the theatre, but this was just plainly bad. That being said, after that I learnt about the terrible conditions the previous dancers had to endure, I regret giving money to this Company at all.
Dec 09, 2024 · Ana Sylvia Espinosa de los MonterosI went to see the company's performance of The Nutcracker and then went back to see Emergence, I was pleasantly surprised! It was my first time visiting Syracuse during the winter and I was suggested to see the Ballet at the beautiful Oncenter. After seeing the performance, my partner and I found ourselves in Syracuse during their Emergence performance and let me say, what a beautiful place to see a performance. The museum was so elegant, it made the dancers really stand out! I recommend watching a Syracuse City Ballet performance!
May 01, 2024 · Mike SimeskiI have had the pleasure of attending several ballet performances, each of which has been truly exceptional. The dancers are highly skilled and perform with great precision and grace. The choreography is always carefully crafted to showcase their talents, while the costumes are designed to enhance the overall visual experience. Mrs Evans
