Steppin Out Performing Arts GA Reviews
I can't believe I have not done this sooner, but my 2 oldest kids have taken classes at Steppin' Out (SOPA) for nearly 5 years (11 year old girl and 8 year old boy). They have both auditioned for several years in a row and made the Musical Theater Ensemble (MTE), acting, jazz and tap. Having been a vocalist and performer myself in another life, the bar was/is high...and SOPA delivers EVERY bit of what they promise in the way of learning, variety, challenge, and FUN. They have a sizeable staff (as of this writing I think there are around 15+ instructors/asst. instructors) of experienced and formally educated dance, voice, acting and performance instructors, and many who have real world stage credits! We absolutely love the PEOPLE they are- the owners (Cassie and Lindsey) are incredible humans with families of their own, and I have not met an instructor that wasn't passionate about what they're doing at SOPA. They put their all into creating opportunities beyond a weekly class and a recital- for MTE alone there were at least half a dozen additional performance oppportunites, inlcuding earning a spot at the world-renowned Junior Theater Festival (JTF) in Atlanta, where our MTE group won a prestigious award for best ensemble in the pod of 10 other groups! SOPA is an up and coming studio, and I couldn't be happier that we have a front row seat to watch them grow, and for my kids to be included that growth. They have learned so much about confidence, vocal technique, good "acting choices", and all things tap and jazz while here at SOPA. And, they have made lifelong best friends here...these are their people for sure. There is nowhere we would rather be!
May 19, 2025 · Lindsey WiselyWe had our daughters 5th birthday at Steppin’ Out yesterday in Newnan. It was by far the most coordinated, well executed, and action packed party I could have possible imagined for our girl. Ashlynn was the teacher and did an incredible job directing 15 little girls around for 2 hours. They did everything from decorating crowns and cookies to having ballet and gymnastics lessons with princess dress up and a ball to wrap up the afternoon! My expectations for this party were far exceeded and I am beyond grateful for such an experience. We literally did not have to make any decisions except for the date, time and theme. They did EVERYTHING else.Cassie was my main point of contact up until the day of and she was attentive and answered any questions I had.I highly recommend this as an option for a Birthday party!Thank you ladies so very much for the care that was put into our party!
