Jul 22, 2021 · Jenny KerrMy 3 daughters have enjoyed dancing at South Metro Dance Arts Center!! As a mother, I am so happy with the instruction they have received and the values they have learned along they way. My daughters started in the recreational program and now all three dance in the competitive program...both programs taught our daughters great skills and technique. We highly recommend this studio!!!
Jul 21, 2021 · Megan CoxSouth Metro Dance Arts Center has taught my two daughters so much more than dance. I’ve watched the studio (ownership, staff, and community) support dancers in ways beyond expectation of a typical “extra-curricular” activity. The need of each child- physically, mentally, and emotionally- is taken into account for each step in their life. This doesn’t mean the child won’t be pushed to their fullest potential or won’t face challenges or disappointment; it DOES mean the studio owner and coaches are open to discussions, support, and helping your child achieve their goals recreationally or competitively. I’ve had two daughters dancing at the studio for 10 years, the family they gained has been instrumental into developing them into the individuals they are today.
Jul 23, 2021 · Samantha ZakMy daughter started dancing at SMDAC when she was 2. She loved to dance and had a January birthday and in 2008 this was the only studio that would would be flexible with me and allow her to try a class at that age. My daughter is now 15 and a sophomore in high school. We have literally grown up here and we've watched the studio grow and evolve in the process. We started in a rec preschool program and moved into competitive starting in kindergarten. We've been in large groups, small groups, done solos and learned a lot about teamwork, work ethic, structure, time management, discipline, how to handle disappointment and how to win with maturity and grace. Now that she is high school age I really appreciate the schedule that allows for high school dance team members to still pursue their studio dance as well and not have to pick. The location is great too!
