Salsaville Dance Studios at Feel The Beat Dance Reviews
Dancing makes me happy!I had been looking for salsa classes with an instructor who is not only passionate about teaching (most dance instructors love what they do) but one who has the ability to break down the techniques so they are easy to understand and implement. Eric is one of those instructors; passionate, patient, knowledgeable and teaches in a logical format.Salsaville studios offer great floors and a full wall of mirrors so students can watch their new moves.I finally found what I've been looking for in dance instruction. I'll take classes from Eric as long as he's teaching.
Nov 06, 2015 · Lisa McI started taking Eric's dance classes at the Cherry Creek dance studio. The group class was a pretty cool experience for me, and I had no problems receiving attention when it came to clarifying techniques or steps. It doesn't matter if you are a single or a couple, as everybody rotates partners.I wanted to accelerate my learning, so I have taken private dance lessons with Eric and his assistants. He pays a lot of attention to the technicalities of Salsa dancing, and I am glad that I took the private lessons, because there is a whole technical dimension to Salsa dancing that I wouldn't have learnt in a group class!Overall, the experience is fun, the class atmosphere is relaxed, and you are made to feel comfortable. I do hope that with greater publicity, he can start higher level salsa classes in Denver soon!
Sep 09, 2014 · Apurv MittalMy husband and I had been looking around for YEARS to find a good place to take Salsa lessons in the Denver area after moving from Phoenix where good Salsa classes are abundant. We tried various studios and teachers with no success until we took classes from Erik and several other Salsaville instructors. What kept us coming back was the fact that Erik and his instructors are top notch and really know their stuff. But most importantly, they teach you how to translate moves into combinations that work in any situation!
Oct 01, 2014 · Kendall SeptonIf you've ever wanted to learn salsa but didn't know where to start, look no further. No previous dance experience necessary, sign up as a couple, sign up with your best friend to try something new, or do as I did, and sign up as a single.I started with level 1 and continued each month until I had completed all 4 levels. I can't tell you how much information is imparted to you at each level. You get plenty of practice time during class, the instructors are great at giving personal attention to each dancer. I even experienced compliments when I did well, it wasn't all critiques.I gained a lot of confidence learning the basics. Going through this experience with the same group of people for 4 months was exciting. Just to see how nervous and tentative everyone was in the beginning, to actually see the joy in their faces, and hear their laughter as they were able to execute dance moves. I remember a beginning class coming in to watch the end of our class and thinking to myself, that in just 3 months, they'd be executing the same moves. The look of awe on their faces was a sight to see.I continued taking the advanced classes in Boulder, and then took a beginning Cuban style salsa class in June. After taking that class for 6 months, I've decided to join Eric Freeman and a small group of dancers on a dance trip to Cuba.I started my journey in January 2015. A year later, January 2016, I am ready to go on a trip of a lifetime.
Dec 18, 2015 · Shirley CieluchMy motto in life is: If it's not fun, I'm done. Rarely have I had as much fun as I have in Eric's classes. I've been a student for over a year now, and I'm hooked. Eric's passion and expertise, his great sense of humor, his exciting patterns, and his focus on repetition really enable us to grow and improve as dancers while having a blast doing itI Eric is very invested in his students reaching their full potential, and he always keeps it new and interesting. It's been very rewarding to watch my dancing improve month after month and to be able to follow complex routines with a variety of different partners at the clubs. I've also enjoyed going through classes together with the same group of people who have become like a family to me! I cannot recommend these classes highly enough. In my opinion, Eric is one of the greatest Salsa instructors in Denver.
