Jun 16, 2025 · TeresaWe have two dancers at Seber Method Academy and can happily say that their joy for dance has been (re)ignited. Our son who has been doing ballet for 8 years has improved so much during his short time here and our little daughter is having a great time in the pre-ballet program. The teachers are amazon the school has a great vibe. So glad we found Seber!
Dec 23, 2024 · Christine GlomazicMy daughter has attended Séber Method for over a year. They helped create an individual plan for her and are willing to tailor programs for individual dancers that take dance goals, well-being, and other life goals into account. Some dancers become professionals but they are dancing beside those who just want to dance for enjoyment or who might have other goals in theater of dance competition. They have created a positive and encouraging environment that has allowed my daughter to improve, work with amazing artists/instructors, gain confidence, and have fun.
Jul 22, 2024 · ErikaLilla is an angel. She welcomed me as a 19-year-old moving to a new city. Séber Method Academy was the place that made DC feel like home and gave me a sense of community with its uplifting faculty. They were very smart and strategic in the way I was trained, catering to my individual skills and background. They placed me in both high and low-level classes simultaneously to help me improve at an efficient rate. The intermediate classes helped me learn new skills, vocabulary, and techniques. The advanced classes provided me with challenges, experience in keeping up, and, most importantly, inspiration from those around me. With both levels, I was able to push myself to new heights as I understood how the technique applied in higher levels. I also had many performance opportunities, which are crucial for an artist to both share their work and learn how to handle the added pressures of having an audience. In addition to training in all styles of dance, I also took voice and acting lessons with Ian. It was one of the first times I felt listened to and helped with genuine care. Now I’m in New York making a splash in college. I wouldn’t have considered myself a "dancer first" before Séber, but after dancing in New York, I realized that Séber Method Academy had made me one.
