Princess Mhoon Dance Institute Reviews
We had one great experience with PMDI, and one terrible experience with PMDI. The instruction in 2020, even during the pandemic and even for a toddler, was fantastic. However, there was insufficient communication when the program was run through our elementary school. We were thrilled that our school offered class during aftercare last year, but management of the program was unacceptable. There were times when not every child was taken from aftercare into class. If you unsubscribed to their general email list, you didn’t receive any notification specific to your child’s class. My requests to use school leadership to communicate with families fell on deaf ears. The final recital itself was fine, but I didn’t know when it was or what my child should wear until I asked. When the location was moved and tickets were no longer needed, I’ve been waiting for my promised refund for 4 months.I want to support a local small business, but my emails and calls go unheard, or I’m told “we’ll get back to you” and no one ever does. I believe their focus is on their studio classes, so others may enjoy enrolling directly. We, however, found a different studio and encouraged our school to no longer partner with this organization.UPDATE: The owner reached out to me with an apology, and the refund has posted. I encouraged her to review their end-of-year processes to ensure others who are waiting also receive their refunds, photos, and videos. I would still feel comfortable sending my daughter to this studio.
Sep 13, 2023 · Laura KunkelMy daughter has been taking dance lessons at PDMI for a few years. Not only does she love it, but she also has become much more disciplined in other aspects of her life. The staff is friendly and professional. My daughter also loves the dance camps for spring and summer breaks. The summer camps include weekly field trips and dance performances by the students.
Mar 12, 2016 · Tracy Oliver-GaryMy daughter has been with Princess since she opened 5 years ago and we could not be more happy! We are both thrilled with her growth in her confidence and her dance skills. So happy to be a part of the PMDI dance family!
