NuEvolution Dance Studio Reviews
Our experience with this dance school has been deeply disappointing, and I feel it is important to speak up—not just for my child, but for other families who may be experiencing the same. From the beginning, communication and feedback were practically nonexistent. Teachers never provided reviews or updates on students’ progress, leaving both children and parents in the dark. For an institution that claims to support young dancers, the lack of mentorship and guidance is simply unacceptable. The recital was even more concerning. It was poorly organized, chaotic, and lacked the structure and professionalism you’d expect from a reputable dance school. There was no clear direction, and it was evident that planning had been either rushed or neglected entirely. However, the most troubling part of our experience was the way I was treated when I offered to volunteer. Instead of being met with appreciation or basic courtesy, I was spoken to rudely—dismissed and belittled in front of my child. This experience was humiliating, and it’s hard not to wonder if this treatment was rooted in bias, as a non-native English speaker and member of a minority group. When patterns of exclusion or disrespect consistently affect specific individuals, it’s important to call it what it may be: discrimination. No parent should have to explain to their child why they were treated with disrespect in a place meant to be nurturing and inclusive. This dance school has a long way to go in terms of professionalism, organization, and, quite frankly, basic human decency.I sincerely hope they take a long, hard look at how they treat not only their students but also the families who support them.
May 18, 2025 · Test UserWe attended the Princess Ballerinas class on Saturday for our free trial. The teachers and office were so welcoming! I was impressed with the amount of assistants they had for the class and oh boy was I glad they had them. My child was “that” child. The one that cried for Mommy the ENTIRE 45 minutes but what impressed me more was that no one batted an eye. They kept her in class for the entire 45 minutes while she cried and one (poor) assistant just held her and tried all the things they were doing in class with her. It would have been so easy for them to just send her out to me and let me know she wasn’t ready but they didn’t. At the end of class they just said, we will try again next week. We have signed my daughter up because this is the type of environment me we want for our child and we will see how it goes because I’m sure she will continue to cry for a little longer. As an added bounds, the monthly tuition cost is extremely reasonable! I had to ask them to confirm what I was hearing when I registered!

May 14, 2025 · Scarlett AliviaIf I could give 0 stars I would. My daughter is 2 and we called to get her into classes and they had us sign up for the princess ballerina class. We get there and it never felt welcoming. The instructor/teacher never even introduced herself to us. We had no idea what we were doing. My daughter was obviously nervous and scared because she's never done this before, so she cried. I sat in the class with her and the instructor ignored us the entire time. Never tried to include her. She never smiled or anything. She at one point started scolding another child and threatening that she wasn't going to get her "sparkles" after class if she wouldn't listen. After about 10 min of sitting on the floor with my daughter (who calmed down but was still a little weary) we were told that we needed to leave because we were being too distracting to the class. It's for 2 year Olds!!!!!! My 2 year old was being too distracting for a 2 year old class!?!? At that age, they should just be having fun in the dance class and not have a huge structured dance. I understand theyre teaching them a dance but they took it so seriously that they literally scolded a little girl that was just having some fun with the music. I'm furious because it's her first day and of course she's going to cry. That's normal. And then to ingore us and proceed to kick us out was so wrong. Terrible service. I was so excited because I heard so many good things and the reviews are great but for some reason they were frustrated with us because my 2 year old was acting like a 2 year old in a 2 year old class. Interesting.
Apr 07, 2024 · Jessica MontgomeryThey are amazing with the kids! My daughter was so shy when she started, and she is absolutely on love with her class, this is her second year! My oldest son is about to start his first acro class as well and he cant wait. The staff is super passionate about teaching, and they are amazing with even the littlest of dancers!
