My oldest daughter has been at MusicWorks for a little over 2 years and it has been such an incredible experience for her!We initially chose MusicWorks over other local dance companies because we were looking for something just for fun and non-competitive. MusicWorks has proven to be incredibly fun while not compromising high quality instruction and dedication to excellence. Dance days are my daughter's favorite days of the week, and she has gained so much confidence in herself! She has done an AcroDance mini-class and 2 years of Tapp/Jazz. Her instructors are smart and fun and excited every week.Recently our youngest (almost 4yo) daughter did a summer dance camp and it was incredible! It really surpassed my expectations and she had the absolute time of her life. I love that they had teens leading this camp, those girls really stepped up and led an incredible camp and my little one absolutely learned so much more than I realized she could, and she felt so loved and cool having the teens being her teachers. Finally, the thing we really love most about this place is Lynne, the owner. She's absolutely the most lovely person, and her heart and passion for dance and these kids is so evident. She has worked with us in hard times when we needed a few extra days to make payments, helped us learn the ropes as we had never been a 'dance family' before 2 years ago, and has been such an encouragement to our girls. One of the things that is so beautiful to see is the older kids who are graduating at recital- the way they have become family to each other and with Lynne is evident and so beautiful to behold, and I cant help but hope that my girls will grow to have a family at this amazing place as they grow as well! - Leah Mehaffey
