Part 2/2: Now, let's talk about my 3yo's experience. If I could sum up in one phrase, it'd be, "She and everyone in her class are just so darn adorable!" Don't get me wrong, she's gotten so much more flexible in just one semester without practicing at home like her sister, but the 3yo class is definitely more of an intro to dance class, where they incorporate lots of fun and movement into the 45 minute class. We're having her attend this class again as a 4yo next semester, because we're still trying to figure out if this is her passion. Coach Cindy teaches this class, and all the kids just adore how sweet, beautiful, and talented she is! There is another teacher that teaches ballet on Tuesday afternoons that my 3yo really adores. Check out the video- she's very attentive, kind, and nurturing.Let's address some of the pain points of Ballet Ballet. It's no secret that this is a new establishment, and the administration is still trying to figure out the best way to organize, communicate, and build a foundation for the best customer service. We don't know what we don't know, and I think only time will tell if the rather strict rules will lax over time. Makeup classes must be scheduled, and if a student misses too many classes in a semester, she will be held back from her peers- this is unfortunately the nature of how ballet works. If you're looking for less strenuous ballet learning, I still think Ballet Ballet is the place to be, but make sure you let Coach Dai and Coach Cindy know that from the beginning. Ballet Ballet has competitive and noncompetitive ballet classes, so if your child is more like my 3yo, there is still plenty to learn from Ballet Ballet at a slower pace. My 5yo truly loves ballet, which is why we're trying to see if she can retain this passion for ballet despite the rigorous curriculum. My girls have also been taking dance class at another dance place for the past 2 years. We just had an end of the year recital, and let me tell you something that reassured me signing up my girls for the Spring semester at Ballet Ballet was the right choice. Having ballet training made them stand out on stage. Their posture, rhythm, and grace on stage were so noticeably different from the other girls on stage. I know, I'm pretty biased at this point, but I am trying to give as much of an objective view as possible as this tiger mom does have former music training in violin, ballet, and piano growing up! Ballet Ballet exceeds my expectations for my girls. In terms of my expectations for how their customer service focus could be, it is right on point- it still needs a bit of experience and time to improve. For now, make sure you arrive more than 5 minutes prior to the start of class, notify Coach Cindy of planned absences in order to make up classes, and be receptive to their changes. Go sign up today- you might find immersion in the world of ballet has a new meaning! - Sophia Hendra

The reputation of Ballet Ballet Dance Studio is largely built on the caliber of its instructors and the demonstrable progress of its students. As one enthusiastic parent shared, their decision to enroll their girls, aged 3 and 5, was quickly validated by the "astounding" improvements witnessed. The 5-year-old, under the direct instruction of Coach Dai, showed remarkable growth in confidence, strength, posture, and flexibility, becoming a "changed child" in just one semester. This parent, a "tiger mom" with a background in music and ballet, objectively noted how the girls' Ballet Ballet training made them "stand out on stage" at another dance recital, distinguishing them with superior "posture, rhythm, and grace." Coach Dai, described as a "perfectionist" who can still make kids laugh, is praised for his "patience, diligence, and vigilance in understanding each student's strengths and weaknesses."

The studio also caters beautifully to younger dancers, with the 3-year-old's class, taught by Coach Cindy, being described as an "intro to dance class" that incorporates "lots of fun and movement." Coach Cindy herself is adored by the children for being "sweet, beautiful, and talented." While acknowledging that Ballet Ballet is a newer establishment still refining its administrative processes, the reviews consistently highlight the undeniable quality of the instruction and the visible results in the students' dancing. The studio's commitment to competitive and non-competitive tracks ensures that dancers of all aspirations can find their place, from rigorous pre-professional training to more relaxed introductory classes, all while fostering a genuine "love of ballet."
