★ 5★ 4★ 3★ 2★ 1No one told me we weren’t allowed to stay with our child (newly 5 year old) during the summer dance class. Miss Jessica was absolutely rude telling me if I kept asking my child if she wanted to stay she wouldn’t want to. As a preschool teacher, I don’t need someone telling me number one how to talk with my child that suffers from anxiety. What a waste of money, she offered me to stay a few minutes then when I was asking what she wanted to do she continued to tell me stop asking her. Think twice before going to this facility especially if your child has separation anxiety at a young age. She clearly doesn’t understand childhood development or emotional needs when my child has pure panic attacks. She met us for 30 seconds before offering her very unprofessional opinions.
Jun 17, 2025 · Michael & Hannah MooreMy two daughters have been at the studio 12 and 7 years respectively. We like the family atmosphere. Jessica was very patient with my oldest daughter when her first few classes 12 years ago she would scream and cry. The costumes are fabulous and very age appropriate. The recitals are entertaining and organized. The girls are well supervised during the shows. And I love that she trys to get everyone involved in the Christmas show. Overall I would recommend this studio and they are very welcoming.
Jun 18, 2018 · Mindy HardmanMy daughter will be starting her 10th year at the studio this fall. She has enjoyed all of her classes and teachers during her time taking dance here. The studio is great about getting details communicated to all parents. The recital is a great event that showcases each class. Definitely recommend this studio to anyone who is looking for dance for their child.
Jun 18, 2018 · Freda MartinWe love Melody & Motions, can’t say one bad thing about anything. My stepdaughter attends dance and tumbling classes, she loves it! The instructors are amazing and they are all very professional! The parents and her peers are very kind, caring and loving! Can’t wait to see what next year brings for all three of my girls!
Jun 18, 2018 · Rickquall BeitzelWithout a doubt Melody and Motion School of Performing Arts deserves my five-star rating. Both my daughter (tap and ballet) and son (tap) danced at M&M for 12 years, and watching them develop and grow in their art has been delightful! As an educator myself, I had high expectations for the studio and its instructors. I expected well-disciplined, managed, and challenging classes each week; I expected timely communication and professional interaction. Indeed, I was never disappointed. My children learned much more than the art of dance from M&M: they acquired grace and poise, responsibility, teamwork, and humility. In addition, the culminating spring recital is one of the most professional, colorful, and entertaining theatre events I have ever attended! Bravo, Melody and Motion, bravo!
