Mary Alice's Dance Studio/MADS Reviews
Mary Alice Dance Studio is a wonderful dance studio. I am currently a competitive dancer there on mini company and they have so much classes we can take! I go to many competitions and conventions and love them all. Out of any studio, I recommend MADS
Nov 21, 2024 · Emery UrbanHard to believe 50 years have passed since you first opened the studio. It is impossible to count the number of lives you have positively influenced not just through dance but also through the development of Dancer’s Give Back which effectively promotes a sense of charity, kindness and community throughout WNY. I know many of your dancers have continued with highly successful professional dance careers but many more have had a confidence instilled in them through dance and your studio that has allowed them to have successful careers in many other fields.I am thankful that you have brought together a highly skilled faculty and you have the sense to recognize everyone for their strengths. I also realize your faculty is trained in all forms of dance but realistically everyone has their strengths. Much the same as I do not want my electrician working on my plumbing I prefer a tap teacher teaching tap, ballet teaching ballet etc. Each one of your teachers is truly an artist in their field. It is often said that “Imitation is the highest form of flattery” so you must feel very flattered by those trying to emulate you and your studio. I wish you and your staff another rewarding year and many more years to come.
Aug 18, 2018 · Maureen MartinI was in Mary Alice's Dance studio back in the late 1980s when I was a preschooler. She was so extremely patient with me. An excellent teacher. I can't believe she still runs this studio, that just shows you how dedicated and passionate Mary Alice is about dance
Feb 21, 2023 · MeganAs we all know, this year with the COVID-19 pandemic, it has shaken our communities and activities to the core. People have lost their jobs, our future miracle makers have had to adjust to distance learning, and people have had to be concerned with helping to stop the curve of infection.I have been so thoroughly impressed at the professionalism and ingenuity of the dance studio in which I grew up at. Their dedicated and charismatic faculty not only produce award winning routines, but have the biggest hearts. In addition to their long-standing established charitable organization, Dancer's Give Back, this year they set up master classes with well-known and caring choreographers, and reinvented the way in which dance can be taught through the use of ZOOM and virtual learning. All proceeds were donated to Direct Relief, helping to provide PPE equipment to those essential workers helping save people suffering from COVID. Never once did they stray from their mission of providing a family friendly experience with entertaining and interactive moments. It is an honor to recommend this studio to anyone seriously considering enrolling their child in dance. It has been one of the most memorable experiences from my childhood and I am proud to say that I was and still participate with MADS! Congratulations for an amazing accomplishment and thrilling 2020 season!
