My daughter joined Marjorie’s school of ballet when she was four years old. The reason why I started her here is because as a child she was very shy but I could tell she wanted to dance and this seemed like the perfect studio size to start at. During the first month of my daughter attending, she would just stand there and not participate! I cried thinking she would always be like this in everything (basically not letting herself join the fun because she was so shy). Marjorie assured me everything was fine and it’s normal, she explained to me that my daughter was just observing and that soon she would join when she was ready. And she did! After a month she slowly joined the other children and began showing enjoyment! Fast forward to now, my daughter is 14 years old, still shy but you would never know when she’s dancing! She is on her third year of pointe and absolutely loves her ballet studio and teacher! She has built so much convince and discipline that portrays in everything she does… from dance to school to how she takes care of her self. I can’t thank Marjorie enough for helping me create this beautiful person that I’m so proud of! - Brenda Glenn
