Long Island Academy of Dance Reviews
Great studio all around, we love that our children enjoy going to class! We came to LIAD from a different studio 2 years ago and it was the best decision we made for our family. My girls have finally learned proper technique and have grown tremendously as dancers in the short amount of time we’ve been there. Teachers are supportive and challenge their students, but also meet them at the level they are at. They truly make it fun for the kids. I love that the student themselves all become friends and encourage one another to do their very best. It’s quite literally become our home away from home.
Sep 08, 2023 · JanineLong Island Academy of Dance is amazing. They have wonderful teachers that range from working with the tiniest of 2 year olds to the older competition team girls. We have been dancing here for 4 years, and have had the most amazing experience. The technical skills for ballet, jazz, tap, lyrical, etc are leaps and bounds above other studios in our area, and we are so happy with our choice to dance at LIAD!
Jun 27, 2024 · Katie MayGreat dance school with gifted, talented, and caring teachers. My daughter has been dancing with LIAD since the age of 3 and has worked her way up through competitive levels to Dance Company. She has been taught what hard work and dedication can achieve. With competent choreographers and seasoned dancers as beautiful role models, she has developed strong relationships and made life long friends. The newly renovated studio has become a home away from home, a creative outlet, and a supportive space where she is encouraged to push herself, to try new things, and to never give up. Through the years, I’ve watched my daughter develop and advance dance skills, but along with honing those skills she has learned to be confident, strong, and poised both on and off the stage. It has been a joy each year, to watch these kids come together and bring movement to life on stage through the ideas and artistry of their choreographers. LIAD has been a wonderful studio to call home.

There is a variety of classes and the teachers are kind and super qualified.
