Their performances are of professional quality, and the way they know and care for each dancer is unlike anything I've ever seen in a dance school. Jun 26, 2024 · Bethany SollenbergerI do not dance there but I did do their summer intensive and it was one of the coolest things I have ever experienced. I dance at a competitive studio which is not ballet focused and I wanted to go here because I needed to improve my technique. Not only are the staff and teachers amazing but the kids are all so nice and welcoming. The teachers are all there to push you and make everyone the best they can be. I only took the intensive for 2 weeks and when I got back to my studio, my teachers all asked if I have been doing a lot of ballet and that they can tell. I really recommend their studio or intensive!!
Jul 11, 2023 · Araina HussI have been dancing at Littleton Ballet Academy for about 10 years and I can't say enough about this studio. The environment is an amazing atmosphere to grow up in; I couldn’t ask for more! The teachers and directors are some of of the most courteous and generous people I know. They have helped me and many other kids and adults through thick and thin. They have taught me my most valuable lessons. The students are friendly and hardworking. Instructors teach students not only dance, but the skills to succeed in life as well. To list a few: time management, proper etiquette, and kindness. The studios and lobby are quite spacious and updated. Overall, this is a great studio for those of all ages and levels!
Jul 24, 2019 · T AndersonAfter spending my 2023 year dancing at Littleton Ballet Academy, I can confidently recommend dancers to find another studio. My experience at LBA consisted of rehearsals where I was barely taught the choreography. I remember being in rehearsal when one of my peers was absent, and the director (who you would think should behave like an adult), was talking behind her back about the number of friends she has. Totally ridiculous. There were a couple of instances where I was deridingly asked if I was a "smart girl," by a director repeatedly. I remember being yelled at by the director in a studio filled with people because I was watching the other cast's rehearsal and not marking/rehearsing it (when watching is a form of learning). It was also a huge waste of money, because I was at LBA for several hours every day of the week and barely had any pointe classes the entire time I was enrolled. I remember a director asking me why I had to leave rehearsal, and I told her it was because I was feeling nauseous. She replied," Oh! Nauseous, we thought you were obnoxious." I wish I had my wasted time, money, and energy back.If you want to grow in technique, musicality, and not be talked about behind your back or yelled at by a fuming, angry director, go elsewhere, because there are ballet schools in the area that offer just that and more.
Jun 22, 2024 · Jasmine urbinaLittleton Ballet Academy has been an incredible studio for me. I started dancing with the studio when I was just 12 years old and trained in ballet, tap and jazz. Ali and Bobbie taught me from the beginning what hard work looked like and what you can achieve if you believe in yourself. The studio has always been a safe place for all students and teachers and is a special community in itself. I loved all the time I spent at the studio working hard and learning everyday. LBA always has a special place in my heart and I am forever grateful to the staff.
