Goodson Recreation Center Reviews
Don't waste your money with a membership here, it's much cheaper at any commercial gym or even the YMCA. The pool has limited hours, closing the entire pool multiple times a week during prime hours for swim lessons (not even one lane for laps). The kid swim area is just 1.5 foot pool without any slides, splashers or toys. The weight area is tiny and crowded. Go somewhere else.
Apr 19, 2025 · Katie WoodI've been working with Christian for several months at this facility. He is an awesome personal trainer who pushes me just the right amount. I can see and feel the difference in my body. Highly recommended.
May 02, 2025 · Kristen DayThe elder male at the desk is the only person I like here. The young females display extreme entitlement and give off dirty looks if they choose to dislike you for whatever reason. It’s not surprising, just disappointing… but the guy that helps me every time makes up for that!
Apr 02, 2025 · Devon PinkstonI’ve played racquetball here before, and have never had any issues with equipment, until today. I asked the two gentlemen at the front desk for a racquet, a ball, and for eye protection. They told me that there was no eye protection (which is a critical safety measure for racquetball) and they gave me a tennis racquet. I’m not sure if the rec center is skimping on equipment expenses or if some training is needed for the employees, but I was quite disappointed by the lack of equipment.
Feb 17, 2025 · Andrew BalesThis rec center is great! Has big gym and swimming pool. Has lots of racquetball courts! Conducts swim lessons. Has dance studio for kids and one of the few rec center to offer gymnastics lessons for kids!!
