Lilith Pole and Aerial Dance Reviews
Lilith Pole and Aerial Dance is filled with knowledgeable, talented and empathetic instructors. To give you some insight, thanks to this studio I started pole in January 2023 but currently, I'm at Level 4/5 inverting constantly. This would NOT have been possible without this place!!!Alyssa the owner, is a compassionate and talented individual who has done her diligence to ensure that her studio is filled with knowledgeable and supportive instructors. In addition, this studio offers various payment options, even giving discounts to exotic dancers and students. It's clear that Alyssa deeply cares about this place and for her students. Entering pole can be very intimidating and as you further delve into the world of pole, society can be hostile towards aerial art ESPECIALLY pole and towards exotic dancers. To say that this place is completely free of judgment, does not credit them enough as the support and guidance they give is absolutely astonishing and admirable. In addition, the studio supports local artists and features new art almost seasonally. This does wonders when filming and as a content creator, it certainly makes my editing skills unnecessary. This studio cultivates not only pole knowledge but allows you to connect at a wider scale - as you advance in pole, it's inevitable that people will find you but it's so important that they are the right ones.Give this place a try and don't be afraid to say hello if you see me bumming out at the studio! :)
Aug 25, 2024 · Tory KI wanted to try out local studios while I was visiting from out of town. Lilith studio was amazing!Love that they are clear about their expectations for each class type and level. Very easy to do drop ins! It's a very nice looking studio too. There isn't a separate lobby to wait in before your class, it's one open room. Not an issue But is good to know if you're new to the studio. I would've waited to pop in a little closer to class the first time if I knew hahaBoth Thomas and Arijanna are very skilled both in their movement and as instructors. I truly had a blast! I never felt like an outsider either.Hopefully it won't be too long before I get a chance to stop by again.
Oct 26, 2024 · Cheyenne GarciaI just finished my trial week at Lilith (which, by the way, is not only an amazing deal, but is such a great way to try all the classes, learn what you gravitates toward, and get to know a lot of the instructors and their teaching styles)... and what an amazing week it was!!! I cannot sing enough praises about the instructors; they're kind, patient, and encouraging... not to mention incredibly strong and talented. I especially loved Mini, KJ, Lydia, and one other instructor I won't name for privacy reasons-- thank you all for facilitating a warm, inviting, and SAFE atmosphere for all of the students and for the positive energy you given us. The studio itself was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed. I had a tiny issue with booking my last classes, and when I messaged the owner, I was immediately helped and the issue was dealt with quickly and with generosity. I'm absolutely impressed by Lilith Pole and would highly recommend it to everyone looking to either continue their practice OR try something new! I'm honestly surprised this place doesn't have a hundred 5 star reviews already-- possibly because this business doesn't hound their students to leave reviews like many places 😅 This place deserves all the stars-- thank you Lilith Pole!
May 20, 2024 · Nina YoungWithout a doubt, this is one of the best aerial studios in the Pierce/King/Thurston county area. I was hesitant on continuing pole sports after taking a few beginner classes at another studio, but once I experienced my first class here I was hooked! They have a variety of choreo and trick classes that cater to all skill levels and body types led by awesome, knowledgeable instructors that foster an expressive, supportive culture. The studio owner is humble, and very responsive when it comes to the studio's reasonable policies. I can't wait to see what the future holds for Lilith! Book a few classes ... you won't regret it!!
Feb 24, 2024 · Thomas SwiatekI came from Oakland and did my first trial at another studio. Lilith was so amazing! The studio was beautiful and chill. The instructors were so nice and very very good at their craft Adrienne’s heels class was so flowy and beautiful. And Mimi’s tricks class was so much fun she was patient and kind and gave everyone the attention they wanted and needed. Finally the owner is SUPER responsive and welcoming. I look forward to coming back to dance with Lilith when I come back to WA. Totally recommend! 10 out of 10!
