Jewish Community Center of Youngstown Reviews
I recently had my wedding reception here, and I couldn't be happier with the experience! The venue itself was beautiful and well-maintained, providing the perfect backdrop for our special day. The real stars of the show, however, were Ashley and Lindsey. Their incredible support and assistance made the entire event seamless and stress-free. From the initial planning stages to the day of the reception, they were always available, attentive, and ready to go above and beyond to ensure everything went perfectly. Their dedication and professionalism truly made our day unforgettable. I highly recommend this community center for any event, and if you're lucky enough to work with Ashley and Lindsey, you're in for an amazing experience!
Jul 05, 2024 · Cassandra KaneWOW just WOW. They literally expect a person to pay when the "membership" was used 1 time in 7 months. You will be changed for the month you CANCEL; okay, never have I ever. I would give -0 if I could will NEVER return/recommend or refer. NO- "I would not like to pay off a balance when I used your facility one time- for $345.- yeah NO. I will file bankruptcy before I pay that. 😂 It's principle.
Jun 17, 2025 · Monique AlexandriaPool always has heater issues, locker room & showers are dirty or dont work properly. The locker room couches & chairs upholstery is ripped, & Fitness center machines need work. The daily lockers are too small for in the winter, when u have a coat. They are tiny & half the time the combination locks dont work & they have to call maintance to open them.
Jan 22, 2025 · Paul KellyBeen going off and on with my family since I was 12 with minimal a problems. This morning I receive an email saying I had a late fee on my account, i think, no problem I have a $50ish/month account I’ll just go pay that and be set... I tell the front desk worker about it, and am told they have been unable to charge my cards for the past 3months and I now owe them $150 +$30 in late fees. All because not one front desk worker did their job and checked the screen as I scanned in daily, and had gotten guests in on the faulty account. They refused to take off the late fees even after realizing their negligence in the situation, and charged me another $50+ just to cancel the membership because it was the 15th of the month instead of the day before. Horrible customer service, horrible weight room, horrible staff (with a few exceptions)… this place doesn’t want anything from you buy your money!
Oct 18, 2024 · John McClurkinCame here for awhile to use the gym and to use the Logan pool when it switched ownership, as I had been a member of Logan Swim for most of my life and wanted to continue going during the summer. The staff was always nice, facilities are nice too. My problem is they make it a pain to cancel a membership. When I first purchased a membership I paid for a year in advance and did not want it to auto renew.Months back I was surprised with another year membership charge. I got it sorted out, staff were helpful and my money was refunded. My membership was seemingly canceled. I even received an email confirming my membership cancelation afterwards, which included an offer to rejoin which I did not accept. Then today I received yet another unexpected charge for a year membership. It's incredibly frustrating that I'm having the same issue again when I was assured my membership was canceled.
