- Creative Movement / Pre-Ballet: Specifically designed for pre-school aged children (2.5-4 years old), these classes introduce music and movement, enhancing creative ability, attention span, physical coordination, and musicality. They incorporate various music styles, props, and rhythm instruments, and also introduce basic tumbling skills.
- Ballet: Students progress through a classical ballet syllabus, with age-appropriate class work emphasizing proper technique and body placement. Classes are taught in a positive and encouraging manner, with increasing class frequency for advanced levels to build muscular strength.
- Pointe: Advanced ballet technique focusing on dancing "sur les pointes." This class is typically for students aged eleven or twelve with approximately three years of ballet training, upon instructor recommendation and Ballet Director approval, based on technical proficiency and physical maturity.
- Jazz: Designed for dancers who love expressive movement, these classes combine the strength of hip-hop with the flexibility and control of jazz. They cover basic jazz vocabulary and technique, focusing on coordination and musicality with age-appropriate music.
- Hip-Hop: A fast-paced "street dancing" style performed to popular music. Students learn rhythm, coordination, isolations, and basic dance steps, integrating them into routines. No prior dance experience is needed.
- Tap: Focusing on rhythmic footwork and sound, tap classes help students develop musicality and intricate rhythms. Classes range from creative movement with tap for young beginners to advanced technique, speed, and clarity for more experienced dancers.
- Lyrical: A highly expressive form that combines elements of both ballet and jazz. Classes emphasize musicality and interpretation of lyrics, allowing for individual style while developing strong technique. Warm-ups are often modern-influenced and ballet-based.
- Dance with disABILITIES: Specialized dance classes adapted for children with physical and learning difficulties, illnesses, and special requirements. These classes aim to nurture young dancers, build self-esteem, and develop coordination, imagination, musicality, and motor skills in an inclusive setting.

Jeannie Zimbalatti's School of Dance Reviews
We had to pick up a recital dress that we had to even though our daughter decided to drop out of the class. They wrote the word “quitter” next to her name on the package and she saw it and what it said. How do you explain to a 5 year old that people that are supposed to guide and support her are calling her a quitter? As a parent, it's disheartening to witness a dance school that fails to nurture and support young children. Earlier this year my five-year-old daughter recently expressed her decision to stop attending classes at Jeannie Zimbalatti's School of Dance, and the response from the staff was appalling.Instead of understanding her perspective and offering encouragement to pursue other interests, they labeled her as a "quitter." This not only undermines her confidence at an age where it is so important to have a support system, but also demonstrated a lack of empathy and professionalism on their part. It's crucial for any school to create a positive and supportive environment for young people, fostering their love for whatever it is they decide to do, rather than resorting to negative labels.I urge Jeannie Zimbalatti's School of Dance to reevaluate their approach to handling such situations and prioritize the emotional well-being of their students. Every child deserves to feel respected and supported, regardless of their decisions. The worst part is that she wanted to go back in the fall and try a different class.
May 03, 2024 · Henry KarawanMy daughter has been with this school since she was 4 years old. The teachers are amazing and teach from their heart. The teaching style and approach is psychologically nurturing for children and is the ideal setting to foster an excellent skill set in dance whether its for a hobby or competitive dance. This school is a gem and I am so grateful to have a school of this caliber in the area. Bravo!
Jun 06, 2024 · Janet AjroucheI enrolled my daughter in ballet classes a year ago, and it turned out to be an incredible experience for both of us. The staff and teacher were truly amazing and provided so much support. We are eagerly anticipating starting again because my daughter keeps expressing how much she misses it. 😍 Please don't forget to follow them on Instagram and Facebook to stay updated with all their recent posts and updates.
Aug 08, 2024 · dalia nassereddineThe best dance studio ever!! This studio makes sure students learn the proper technique needed to thrive through dance. They offer many different dance styles and they are the sweetest. Many dance studios around the same area are very RUDE and don’t teach kids the right technique and movement needed to be a successful dancer. They have a AMAZING competition team. The teachers work so hard on making sure the students are ready for competitions and they truly care. They are the students biggest supports. The owner herself is a wonderful human and she’s the definition of the nicest person. Bring your kids to this studio because it’s the only dance studio that’s worth your money and time.

The owner herself is such a sweetheart and they don’t body shame anyone. They accept all bodies in any shape or form. Bring your kids here if you’re looking for an amazing dance studio. You will feel like you joined one big family.
